Yeah I agree with you, she's definitely attractive enough/has an attractive enough, personality to not have to go on a (very articulate) 10 minute rant just to get a schlub to hold hands with her.
I might have bought her character more, if she was framed as being less of an awesome person apart from OMG she's fat.

Is that really true though, about the fat girls? I mean in TV land for sure, but in real life plenty of fat girls and guys meet up, date and get married, sometimes with each other sometimes with other people. Is there stigma there? Yeah. Are there painful rejections, most definitely.
