My take as well. However, It still made me uncomfortable. I just can’t land on how I feel about that discomfort. If we discount my thoughts, and just focus on my feelings, then I don’t think it worked as well in practice as it might have in concept.

Exactly. My local recycling service takes plastic grocery bags - so long as they are separated in this manner. Same goes for these plastic mailers. I do not live in a “progressive,” or even a major metro. Perhaps labor is cheaper?
