Pretty sure all of those produced new ip, this purchase gives nothing new to Microsoft that wasn't coming to their platform already. And the biggest value on this purchase is their ip, so I don't see them coming up with much new stuff.

It's very on brand for Microsoft to buy and lock a studio instead of producing something new. Still can play those games on pc, but it sucks for playstation only players. Hopefully they can make Bethesda finally ditch the creation engine, this would be worth it just for that.

My guess is this will be a 1080p console and wont have ray tracing. It should still have a fancy ssd, or they won't be able to take advantage of it building games around it.

Yeah, you can also see enemy levels on top of them. Whenever I see that I know that whatever story is there will have abysmal pacing, level locked story bits and other annoying stuff. Count me out.
