He’s making money off of it. Just like the Liberty Council, the ones providing Davis with “legal advice.” The sucker here is Kim Davis. Poor her!

Serious fans in the US don’t like the word “ping pong,” though, and so also use “table tennis.”

I had no idea “dumpster” was a brand. Didn’t even consider there might be brands for such a thing.

You think so? Other languages I know do it. In Germany, a klennex is a “Tempo.” In Mexico, scotch tape is “Durex.” Not sure why we’d have more.

Most sex worker activists in the US who write on the internet, such as at the site the author co-founded, hate the Nordic Model. So, yeah, not just the ones you know.

Yeah, that would work. Women hoping to get some sort of pay. Whereas escorts know there are guys who are already willing to pay, and there are places on the internet to advertise to such guys.

    That’s even more improbable.

That’s possible. A few locations in the country. But that would mean a very, very close relationship between AM and those escort agencies. I mean, usually the guy pays the escort when they meet. But not in this scenario. So, who pays and when? And these are “real dates,” not just one hour. So 4 hours x $300, that’s a

Only thing I read is that they suspect it’s an inside job.

I’ve commented on escorts here before. Sounds pretty doubtful. Yes, if AM were based in NY and was only for people in the NY region, it could be feasible. But how could they arrange for an escort to meet a guy in Nebraska? What do they know about escorts or escort agencies in Nebraska? There’s other reasons, too, why

I raised doubts about this yesterday. These are dates, not one hour sessions that cost around $250 an hour. If the date goes on for several hours, AM is paying for that extra time? But how would they even know how much time was spent?

Btw, in case it wasn’t clear, I wasn’t talking about escort ads on AM. Just saying that there are other places out there with fake profiles mixed in with real ones.

Maybe. But assuming the stories are true that there were some real women there and that men did indeed meet up with them, it could just be a game of learning to spot the fakes.

Someone yesterday said that he hooked up with a few women, but after exchanging emails. So, he used the site to find them, but arranging the date and whatever else happened later was done off the site.

I just replied to a similar question. I’ll repost it here:

Not sure how feasible that would be. With sex workers, that’s $250 for an hour. But these are supposed to be dates, which would last more than an hour. And AM is paying for that?

Yeah. Even the second sentence of this article is questionable: “Marissa Janae Johnson and Mara Jacqeline Willaford, representing the local chapter of Black Lives Matter..” As I understand it, mostly from a detailed Daily Beast article, no one knew they were going to disrupt that Sanders event, and it was a

The Daily Beast also looked at public records yesterday that say the father is white. So, it’s not just right-wing rumors. (Or is the Daily Beast right-wing?)

Wow. I studied in Germany and have been to Zürich several times, and all was fine. But I guess it’s different as an adult, compared to being a school kid.

Well, the article says it’s about feeding people: They are running out of arable land, and thus need high-yield seeds.
