"performative?" What isn't performative?
"performative?" What isn't performative?
I wish you and Kiss-Shot had been around the other day, when I was attacked out of nowhere as an "asshat" for mildly suggesting that there is still an anti-porn sentiment in feminism today. She said, since she is "as an actual philosophy and gender studies major," I don't know shit about feminism. Everyone knows that…
I think the Nordic model comes directly from Second Wave American feminism. So, yeah, from American puritanism.
I think he thinks people watch it because it is taboo because he himself thinks porn is taboo.
I and others here were only replying to your assertion that people watch porn because it is taboo.
You should come visit me where I live in a poor part of Indiana. Doesn't matter as to looks, pretty girls and ugly girls all face the same problems.
I'm a big porn fan and, because of that, I pay for almost all of it. So I don't know how people use/approach free sites like Pornhub.
Wait... Won't cam videos only stay if someone captures, saves, and them posts it online with identifying info? Unless someone does that with my Skype sessions, I shouldn't be able to find them either.
Maybe for teens they watch it cause it's taboo. But sexually experienced adults?
"the industry makes a weird effort to make all the performers look the same with hair, make up and body type."
Out on the streets and train platforms for the general public? Hmm... I didn't see any in Madrid, or Segovia, or Toledo, or Ávila. Or are you talking about in office buildings and such?
The crime rate in the US has gone down sharply of the last few decades. I doubt atheism has anything to do with it.
Yeah. US coin denominations worked great for like the 1950s. You could buy a hamburger, coke, and fries with what you got in your pocket. That's why these days we just empty our coins into a jar when we get home...
In Germany, cigarette vending machines were common. Not sure if things have changed. But you'd see them in odd places, like on some street in a residential area.
Yeah. And not just in Amsterdam. Probably the most vending-machine-loving country in the West, at least in terms of the food option.
Really? Where in Europe?
That sounds about like where I live in Indiana. In other words, I'm guessing the clubs there are just as low key as here. So, I wouldn't worry about being anxious. Just go with the attitude that you are there to chill.
Clubs are so different depending on where you live, so it's hard to say. The same caveat goes for my other comment too.
Do you not watch porn either?
Depends on where you live and which club. Where I live, cover is $5 and two draft beers are $3. That's all you are required to pay.
