I feel like I remember all those guys, if only because I've seen them on tv/radio or scene Miracle of Richfield footage my entire life. I was an infant for most of the Stepien years, so that (along with missing Red Right 88) was one of the few advantages of my birth year.

Part of it was being hamstrung by LeBron. They couldn't clear the decks of contracts like Miami could because a) Wade was the mastermind, signed long-term down there and b) they had to compete record-wise and try new roster combos because of the threat of LBJ leaving.
