I immediately thought "Craggs" when I saw it was a Bay Area pro who had dicked over a writer.

I'm positively shocked that Hue would have anything to do with a product that could cause tinted test results.

So the moral here: beware strange women at the mall.

@Always Winning: oh man, that was awful. I saw it for free at a screening and wanted to demand my money back.

Idi Amin, not worse than Pol Pot. But not a bad despot to go with to make a point.

I now work for a large used/remainder media chain. I get 50% off just about everything in the store. Brand new remainder books, hardcovers or trades that are a third or less of cover price...half off that. Anything used, which goes for half of cover anyway...another half off that. And we get some really good stuff,

@bellhop68: I used to be one. I would commonly have the limit of items checked out. Not to mention the stuff that was "lost" or "missing". (Yes, I brought it back. Eventually.)

RIP, Rapid Robert.

I like Bill Simmons, but not nearly as much as I used to. I like to think I've grown up...and I've always been a huge Charlie Pierce fan.

@MidwestCoastBias: to be fair, there's a significant amount of new material/excised material in the paperback.

Charlie Pierce wins because he's an actual journalist, yet Bill Simmons is barely a sportswriter.

@FavreFAIL: based on the illo on his blog, Charlie Pierce sure would.

@Sapphire and Chronic: it's all that telestrator dong- you start seeing this stuff everywhere.

@sarrible: VGT is super-classy cocktail jazz that goes well with just about anything, the man could really play.

@FavreFAIL: where do you stand on Mark Trail?

As (almost) seen in the LIFE magazine pictures posted on the previous post, McQueen wasn't shy about getting naked in front of a photographer.

Putting your hands on anyone in a threatening manner basically represents assault...
