I know you’re probably tired of seeing this game in every “best of 2022" list, but I’m still not sure what an “elden ring” is supposed to mean.

Aard can be “mutated” in one of the DLC (so you may get it very late in the game unless you find a guide to rush to it) to significantly boost the damage and add a freeze chance (insta kill on weakened enemies as they shatter) making it more viable for damage than just utility.

But the bigger question at least to me, even if the guy was cool with the idea of his images be used on videogames... was it ok for Valve to not tell players about it? not throw a note in the credits or something? Because dunno, it just feels awkward, what if someone used the model for some silly garry’s mod video, or

Hotz also said he started reading Twitter’s code and determined “this ain’t it.”

There are many good and totally legitimate games that got their start as fangames. I am almost sure this company was attempting to go that route

The lesson here is that you shouldn’t mess with any kind of rodent in the industry, black, yellow or otherwise.

It sorta makes sense, clout chasers seek attention, deny them that and they’ll starve. But yeah, surely they didn’t have a better picture to use instead?

I’ve seen some streamers playing and it’s more laughing at how dumb the game is than having any interest on the police thing. It’s like those janky “simulator” games, they go viral because they are goofy.

Dunno what kind of drill the navy practices but really out of all that military grade exercise, the thing that pops his leg was just celebrating some CoD match?

If Take-two were to take action I wager the money lost on lawyers and compensation would outweigh the earnings from selling a couple more copies of the game. So kinda dumb even as a publicity stunt.

All the options are cool, but who needs *all of them* tho? They should have the option to just buy what you want, otherwise while well intended I can only see it as a waste of plastic?

IMO this is all just opportunism “it seems the FTC is winning the argument so maybe I can squeeze some money on my own!” kinda thing. I mean, it just seems fishy to me that the complaint was filed today and not months ago when the whole drama about the aquisition started.  Once your blood’s in the water, everyone’s a

Why do you post non-gaming news here? Now I’m sad too. Ignorance was bliss, 5 minutes ago.

IMO the weirdness and the unique visual style with the talking guns are enough of a reason to at least make people curious enough to give the game a shot.
Because you gotta give them credit, gameplay may end up being generic and boring, but they did make a game that doesn’t look like anything else and that’s gonna

C’mon guys, of course it’s an hyperbole to elevate the show they are making, but “best story” is all subjective anyways and you could do way way worse than TLoU.

Even if it’s not your personal favourite (I prefer Bioshock or Nier Automata - and I don’t care how many of you think I say that just because of 2B’s ass)

I think the issue here is that the game didn’t provide proper channels for that alledged 1%. If those people reversed the charges directly with their bank, then it must be because there was no ingame tool to do it easily to begin with.

The automated system could’ve worked with such tool reducing the number of false

I’m surprise that for once a company decided to own it and take the hit admitting their tactics were kinda scummy rather than try to defend it saying kids love surprise mechanics or some other bs. A nice change of pace.

I’m like 110% sure the bet was just a thinly veiled ad. BUT WHY DOES HE ALWAYS TWEET IN ALL CAPS?

But like.. of course the protagonist will end up becoming the ‘best’ and beating everyone else. In that regard Ash is no different than Goku or Naruto or shonen anime in general.

he Dark Arts Battle Arena is unique, however, in being exclusive to the Deluxe Edition
