While I agree that the xbox system has a shortcoming of not letting you choose if for whathever reason you want the older version, getting the “right” version shouldn’t take multiple menus and options. Sure most of us here are tech savyy enough to figure it out ourselves, but the console should be accessible enough

They are not even trying. I could understand it a little more if they marketed this as a videogame with some NFTs on it (because you know, they are supposed to be a videogame company). But no, they are outright telling us these are NFTs “you can use as profile pictures!” and maybe some vague lore behind them.

Competition is good, you know the drill, it should in theory push everyone to keep innovating and adding features. Wouldn’t want Steam to get complacent and have it’s quality start to dip. What sucks is exclusivity, that if you want to play so and so game, you HAVE to use THIS launcher and not any of the others.

“You can’t buy happiness”
Disney: “hold my my overpriced non-alcoholic beverage”

Even with that I want it, I got it” mentality, it still feels like a waste. If you like a character design so much dunno buy merch? you could even commision something custom made. Seriously, it’s terribly inneficient to spend 90k on a phone game when you could use that money to cover your entire house with figures

If the game didn’t come with family sharing from day 1 and they released a statement it’s to prevent cheating then fair enough. But the issue here is that they released the game with the feature enabled then they removed it.

There must be at least one guy that did have a little cousing that they wanted to share the

I’m pretty sure most competitive games have been vocal against smurfing, just very unsuccseful at controlling it.

I understand that for investors it probably sounds juicier to have people buy both a PS5 and the VR,  it’s similar to what Apple does to try to keep their users withint their own ecosystem, buy an iphone, buy airpods, buy our own premium charging cable that’s 3 times more expensive than everyone else’s for some reason

To me it’s a simple matter of the trope of saving the world got overused. The playerbase (or at least the majority of it) grew tired of seeing the same stories over and over again, it’s not like the game developers/publishers decided to change course over nothing. We will eventually grow tired of post apocalypse

Say, if I happen to walk down that street in the real amsterdam, do I have to pay $10 or put on a blindfold so I don’t see the hotel? I understand intellectual property, but the way I see it, the game is not reproducing the building specifically, but rather a portion of the city as a whole that’s publicly available to

Maybe if the other racers made the perfect turn this wouldn’t work. You don’t hit a curve at top speed, there’s some correction being done so it’s likely they may over-brake or not accelerate all the way out of being cautious.

Slamming the wall gets rid of that human error at the cost of friction, but seems the

IMO it’s an idea that only works once. If everyone starts doing it it stops being effective.

Regardless while the idea *works* as the video shows I don’t think intentionally slamming a wall is a *good* idea overall. The guy himself said he was hoping he wouldn’t accidentally hit anything sticking out of the barrier,

Someone got hurt in the pit before, twitchcon knew about it but let the foam pit continue to operate. They only closed it after multiple incidents happened. That’s where I think they could be accused of some form of negligence.

I guess it’s because she doesn’t want to dump her current audience and rebuild on another platform, but still, in her place I’d be so salty about I’d go to youtube and dump twitch.

What I’ll never understand is why Zuckerberg decided to start from scratch. Like instead of investing billions on creating Horizons use that same money to buy VR chat. Don’t get me wrong, it would’ve sucked for the users, they probably would try to make everyone login to VR chat with a facebook account or something

For what’s worth, I don’t think massive open worlds are inherently bad, the problem is when they make the grind mandatory. It should be possible to play an open world “linearly” by just jumping from main quest to main quest while leaving everything else as optional.

The AC formula could easily work like that if they

It’s... it’s just a white shirt with a logo you won’t notice 99% of the time. This is so “I want it because it’s somewhat rare even if I don’t particularly like it” it hurts.

This is the weirdest drama I’ve seen lately. She went from fighting a good cause against poor salaries for most voice actors to being caught lying to.. fight against abortion? Definitely wasn’t expecting that.

This is gonna be like WinRar licences where the average user doesn’t really care as it’s a matter of time before workarounds appear but companies will step in and pay to avoid legal troubles.

Companies will have to pay the price just so they can keep saying they are Pantone certified or whathever and to keep using the

SBMM “ruins” the game for streamers, I’ll give them that. When off stream SBMM is all good because they can 100% focus on it, but when they decide to stream the game their attention will be split between the game and interacting with their audience so they can’t keep up with the high skill matches.

But honestly, even
