Oh, I can totally see this one case gaining traction and Twitch taking action because of it, but after that no one will care anymore and it’ll just happen again.

I mean, we’re talking about twitch, the platform where streaming flat out sex is just a 7 day ban.

I could bite on it if cats & dogs were part of the standard version. I know they can’t just make it all go for free, but I feel playing vanilla Sims 4 you’ll just be constantly reminded of all the cool stuff you’re missing for not buying into it and I kinda don’t want that.

I just hope it doesn’t become some weird symbolism indicating the character has a split personality. That’d be too on the nose lol.

Anthem had some amount of hype and marketing behind, people bought it then got dissapointed. But I feel like people barely knows this game even existed, it was dead on arrival. Like the people at Square Enix and Platinum didn’t have much hopes for it anyways.

They... they are actually completing the game’s story for free instead of locking it into a paywall? what’s the catch?

I second the idea of looking at which setting you like the most. The latter three have the bigger worlds to explore. Origins and Oddysey will probably give you more bang for your buck, but if you’re into victorian london or the french revolution you may to play Syndicate and Unity instead.

I thought it was an innocent change, like adding an easter egg to see the mystery machine rather than generic cop car. But no, of course it had to be changed due to some twitter drama.

The reason this feature only exists in mobile games is because of how silly it is. It’s ridiculous that to solve the issue the best solution the game can offer is to just let it grind itself automatically without you.

I’m neutral to this whole argument about easy modes, I just believe in creative freedom. If someone wants to make a super hard game that only one or two people will be able to beat it then so be it, it’s their game, just gotta accept you’re not one of those 2 people, refund it and play something else. And if someone

“Gabe Newell doesn’t seem to care that I brought millions of revenue to the table while his moderation team and VP’s will end up costing him millions in payroll.”

To me yes, an open world needs to reinvent the wheel to get my attention at least if it’s asking full price. Because otherwise, I may as well just dig some mods and fire up skyrim or GTAV again or find some other generic open world game that’s already on sale.

Being meh is not enough when there are so many other (and

Are the numbers global or specific to the brazilian market? I don’t doubt the results, just saying the difference could be even greater (or smaller) when you consider the rest of the world

I just find the whole situation weird. Shouldn’t they both sue Nintendo for keeping Mario as nintendo exclusive? He’s arguably one of the most recognizable videogame characters ever.

I understand the need to warn users about the security risks, that’d be fair enough. But I don’t like it when companies remove features because they want to “protect their customers”.

I’m sure the meetings are full of shareholders pushing for adding Batman to boost brand recognition and get more money. So even if true at release, I give it 2 months until we get “Batman & Joker DLC” or whathever.

I see it as an issue with expectations and internet hype. At some point everyone was talking about this as just “the cat game” as if it was just gonna be a game about being a cat and chilling around. But in hindsight, if you rewatch the announcement trailers, it never really hid it’s sci-fi adventure roots.

Doesn’t MGS4 feature the “beauty” bosses crawling on the floor when you beat them with the camera right up their behinds? Doesn’t MGS3 feature scenes where you can peek at Eva’s cleavage? Can’t you catch Meryl with her pants down in MGS1?

I’m just saying, people talk a lot about Quite as if they were shocked by it when

Don’t wanna play devil’s advocate here, but “paying to playtest” is what every other early access game does nowadays. It sucks, the NFTs make it suck even more, but let’s not pretend this is an ‘odd’ tactic, it’s been a problematic trend for a while

Memes and missinformation are indeed a weapon to surpass Metal Gear.
