Everytime I get my proxy vote for my 1 to 5 shares of any company I invest in; I will always vote against the company preferences.

Just to be clear...

Embezzlon Musk

Hilarious. Nobody gives up nearly a billion dollars “to eliminate the uncertainty, risk, burden, and expense of further litigation”

I still believe that life on earth came from space aliens having a picnic on a primordial earth and leaving behind a moldy alien tuna fish sandwich.

Pressure vessel is made from five different pieces.

Even a piece of tin foil will just stay as it is under that pressure. You can try it out. Pretty sure you have some tin foil close by.

They only way to have made this a slideshow was to pad it out with every photo released, a whole page for a blue tarp, amazing

It’s not pressure than causes problems, it’s pressure differences. Any pieces that blew off suddenly had the same pressure on all sides, and no longer had large forces acting on it.

You need a compressable space, So the air filled cabin will have turned the biologics in to physcis. but stuff like metal would not compress.

And yet, you clicked, and then clicked again to comment. Jalopnik thanks you for your support.

In thinking about the cave paintings of our own sub-species, I realized that they had to have been preceded by a long history of art that had no chance of surviving, in such media as leather, weavings of various materials, paints, beadwork...look at the cultures of native Americans before contact with the Europeans.

Free speech absolutist in the mouth of a conservative means exactly what it always has meant: "I will decide who is allowed to speak, and what they are allowed to say. And it ain't going to be kindness or tolerance."

A lot of posts end up with comment counts in the single digits (or none at all!), something that never used to happen. The ones which gain any sort of activity beyond that are the spicy takes which energize troll accounts, who then bait readers into participating. It’s depressing.

I mean, have you opened up a Gizmodo or AV Club article from 2012? None of those classic commenters are here anymore and a lowly article back then got 5x the number of total comments as in 2023.

Be happy on Giz they take you to actual link sources... some of the other sites here deadlink or go places you don’t want!

If they want to charge for their API, that’s fine. If app developers can’t afford it, that’s just business, I guess. Pricing your product so high that nobody is going to buy it doesn’t sound like a way to generate revenue to me, but then I didn’t go to business school.

Good. Fuck em
