I don't get it. Is your imaginary daughter thing supposed to be funny? Or are you just truly batshit insane? Could never tell, but it's really, really creepy. Like an "I guess in retrospect maybe there were obvious signs he was a serial killer all along" level of creepy.

I will. I loved "The Fall" so much. Not a perfect film in terms of script, but what it does it does so well (and one of my favorite "kid" performances from any movie ever). Sure, everything he's done since hasn't been great (kind of sad that "Immortals" is probably his best post-Fall movie….terrible film if you

Yeah, M&C is great. I don't get the shit talking.

All competent, but forgettable. Just like I said. Soderberg never makes outright bad movies. But he hasn't made a single film since "Limey" I'd want to see twice.

I really, really, hated the season where they became cocaine dealers. I don't know if it was just bad writing or the characters wearing on me, but all of the characters suddenly just became grating and unfunny. And it didn't help matters that the writers started exaggerating their individual quirks in a sort of

I don't really get it. So he's like Moby because they are both bald? I take it the author of this piece knows nothing about Lekman beyond looking at the above photo.

Both Soderbergh and Fincher make competent films you almost immediately forget so this makes sense, although Fincher has a single classic ("Zodiac") and a couple cultural touchstones ("Seven," "Fight Club"). Whereas I have a hard time recalling most of Soderberg's films from the past 16 years without using IMDB.

Tree of Life was the turning point for me. Everyone loved it, but I was baffled as to how no one saw that it was awful, self-parody (such a pretentious, cheesy, film). I fucking hated that movie with a passion, even more so because there are snippets of a good film in it from time to time. Everything he's released

Both Coloring Book & Atrocity Exhibition are better. This is a solid album, but I liked RTJ2 better.

The modern day stuff would be more interesting if you could actually do assassin stuff in the modern day in them. The problem with the framing device has always been that it's 100%, tedious, narrative. If they made an AC that had 2 maps, for example, one modern day and one historical, I think the modern stuff would

Ubisoft has been open about the fact that they don't care if the movie fails. They just saw it as advertising for the games.

I loved Assassin's Creed 2 because I thought its conspiracy stuff was so over the top that it seemed like it was trying to be funny. I certainly thought it was funny (I mean, it's a game where you beat the shit out of the pope, then aliens appear to tell you about some silly McGuffin jibberish).

You should play the 2014 "Shadow Warrior" reboot. It's more like the new "Doom" in that it has some Serious Sam style horde killing, but it also mixes in older school intricate level design. "Hard Reset" by the same devs is also good, but it has more in common with Serious Sam, I think.

Fuck CBS. That show was more "To Catch a Predator" than journalism. Pure sensationalism and irresponsible journalism. It was all about ratings, nothing more.

Ditto. "Get Schwifty" seemed like an out take from "Aqua Teen Hunger Force." It was OK on its own terms, but a completely different style of humor compared to stuff Rick and Morty usually does.

Yeah, I liked Interdimensional Cable 2 also. It reminds me of Channel101 stuff. In otherwords, very half assed and not always great, but that's kind of its appeal.

McCain should be the one leading the charge here. He's fucking 80 years old and just won re-election for 6 more years. If anyone has the position to not give a fuck about what Trump thinks, it's him.

If there is actually video of Trump saying the N word and the R word about his son, I don't know what Trump would do were it to be released. I also don't know what the GOP would do, whether they would call for him to resign and/or impeach him or if they would defend it as some sort of racist equivalent of "locker

It was OK. I was kind of disappoint that after the urgency of the last episodes of season 1, everyone split into different groups again and returned to their own storylines. I guess this will be the show's status quo, though.

Yes. It's such a hard show to recommend. The opening of the season is a major slog, but those last 4 episodes are truly transcendental. Unlike anything I've seen on TV.
