I loved Morty's "Where's my wife" immediately after dying in the game.

This whole season has been perfection to me so far. Only 2 episodes, sure, but better than any other comedy on TV this year. No comedies make me laugh anymore, but this one does and consistently surprises me on top of that.
Yeah, sucks he's dead. I would have liked to have heard his story.
He yells a lot! It's hilarious!
Ditto. Surprised at the "meh" reactions to this.
I think 2015 is kind of shitty for music. I've had to dig deep to find stuff I like. Whereas previous years (2010, 2014, 2012) have been an embarrassment of riches.
They all seemed decidely undouchey in interviews too, even if they kind of have that odd homeschooled vibe.
It could also mean that God does exist in the Rick and Morty Universe and Rick knows it. So when he think's he's going to die he prays to him, then says "fuck you" when he doesn't.
I used to have a "landlady" so I used it all the time. Maybe I'm the only person in the world using it, but no one seemed nonplussed by it….so I assumed it's a legit word.
Who was the other one?
I listened to the whole WTF interview and Cenac seemed odd, though. Like he doesn't seem able to get along with people no matter where he goes, which makes me wonder if there's another side to his story.
The difference is that in the Starship Troopers shot he's only fully CGI for a few, split second, long shots. In the others it's mostly just the actor against a green screen riding a shell.
BSG looked great because all the effects shots were in space against a black background, which is way easier to pull off.
What sucked about the Age of Ultron opening was that it should have been an amazing sequence, given that it was basically all one shot with no cuts. But it was was so obviously glued together with liberal amounts of CGI that it took the wonder out of it. It was more or less like watching a cartoon.
Yes. Kong looks awesome and the entire final action set piece in 1930s New York is great. But the effects everywhere else are incredibly inconsistent. I've seen better green screen jobs on youtube than that Brontosaurus stampede.
This one seemed like one of their reviews where they consciously decided to shit on a popular album just to generate clicks. You can tell those reviews because they don't talk about the music, just some other bullshit.
Yeah. All the snark aside, I thought it looked interesting.
Tangentially related: the parody about "Pixar depression" was much funnier than the one posted in the above article:
She's been pretty guarded about whether or not she's writing a sequel at all, apart from a statement nearly a decade ago that she was working on a follow up in the same universe. I'd love a sequel, but I'm personally not really looking forward to one or anything. I'll only get excited when/if she says it's finished.
He also tends to take a more rational approach to magic. In the book I remember him continually denouncing the Raven King and his style of magic as "mysticism." Which also explains the rift between himself and Strange, as Norrell's magical ability came from years of study and hard work, while Strange just stumbles…
