I don't want to open that can of worms, but in Allen's case there's a good deal of doubt as to whether he did it. Whereas there's little doubt that Polanski did.

I miss the 1960s when they would adapt Broadway shows into mammoth 3 hour movies with intermissions. I just saw "Oliver" on TCM again over Christmas break. Imagine how awful a 100 minute Disney version of that would be.
Tobe Hooper is a shitty director. I suspected as much after seeing King's Speech (which is such a tedious mediocrity), but Les Mis proved it.
I'm pretty sure the Betty Ford Clinic doesn't admit completely sober people for 2 weeks only to verify their soberness to judges.
I liked it. You can tell it was made over a longer period, as it jumps around from style to style a bit.
I totally agree with that. I loved the first season, hated season 2, liked the other seasons slightly more, but the show would have been great as one season. The other seasons just kept hitting the same comedic and character beats over and over again, and I don't think Kenny's persona was enough to milk for 4 long…
She had more screen time than any actor, except for probably Wolverine. Maybe equal screen time as McAvoy or Fassbender.
Except dressing in the same thing every day is actually caring way too much about your appearance. Imagine how much work it would be to find several hundred copies of the same outfit.
Also Maria Bamford.
Please, no. Fallout 3 was an abortion of a game that completely misunderstood the universe.
Yeah. Suddenly introducing a new setting and massive cast of characters isn't something most shows do in their 5th season.
Sia made it moderately big with the "Six Feet Under" finale. Didn't she sing "Breath Me" over the final sequence of the finale?
I just saw your mom's vag hole. She left the bathroom door unlocked by accident and I walked in and saw the whole thing. It was really awkward. The conversation was really strained through the meal that I ate with your mom, your dad, and your siblings after that. Probably on account of me accidentally seeing your…
Is there any work that's had better luck with adaptations than "Turn of the Screw"? A really good play, a classic film, and (arguably) the best 20th century English language opera were all based on it.
You really don't hear much about straight men, who want to remain men, yet nonetheless like to wear women's clothing. I mean, they really don't seem to have any advocacy groups in the same way that GLBT people do.
Wizard Wars' biggest problem is that not enough of the process of creating the tricks is shown, and that's the most interesting part of shows like this. They show about 2 minutes of footage of the magicians strategizing for the show, and it all comes off like they are just acting for the cameras. None of it seems…
1. Songs From a Room
2. Songs of Love and Hate
3. Death of a Ladies' Man
4. Songs of Leonard Cohen
5. New Skin for the Old Ceremony
6. Various positions
Still weird that Rowlands and Nick Cassavetes make such shit movies together. You'd think some of that talent would have rubbed off.
Everyone's probably forgotten, but Sarah Silverman was actually a featured cast member for 1 season in the 90s. Unless I'm thinking of Janeane Garofalo, who I think was also a 1 season wonder at one point.
Maybe that website is sarcastic, but most aren't. There are tons of websites that use the concept, like "hack your job" or "hack your degree" or "hack your relationship."
