I was a bit surprised as well by the selection of Anne Hathaway, and while I agree with you on Katie Holmes, I thought Gyllenhaal did a surprisingly nice job. Let's hope Hathaway does the same.

Super thrills, hot babes and beautiful scenery? I am obviously participating in the wrong sport.

The multiple-choice questions themselves seem flawed:

This article raises an interesting point that I've been wrestling with in my own head for some time: is the iPad a serious computer in it's own right that can be used on it's own as part of a creative person's workflow? Or is it simply an "add-on" accessory that requires you to still have your comptuer?

Yes! The thought of some video game promotion had popped into my head, but then I dismissed it thinking that this was way too much production to promote a video game. But I just happened to see the commercial for Icarus last night and it makes perfect sense. Good call!

I'm thinking this is some viral promotion for either Maya software or GoPro cameras.

On the one hand, my first reaction is to scream bloody murder - invasion of privacy! Personal rights! Freedom of Speech! Especially if they are asking for your password: that's just wrong. If a potential employer wants me to log on right then and there, I might agree to that. But I agree with a comment made earlier:

Given all the positive buzz that Camera Awesome has been receiving lately, I'm sure tap tap tap felt the pressure to put out some significant improvements to their product. I tried out Camera Awesome last night, and the funny thing was it reminded me way too much of Camera+ to make the switch. I think this update will

I'm trying to sell my iPad 2 (wi-fi/3G) on Craigslist, and I've gotten a couple of emails, so there's interest. My question is: besides removing all the data and restoring to factory settings, what else should I be doing to make sure whatever information I had on my iPad is compromised? Should I remove the SIM card?

I don't want to make a big stink, but something does smell odd here. I mean, fart for art's sake is one thing, but this just seems like so much hot air.

I actually really like the look of the white wallpaper - this inspired me to change my iPhone's home wallpaper to a blank white. Too bad the phone forces a gray gradient at the bottom.

I've bought it, tried it (using iMac, iPhone 4s, AT&T) following all of the bad directions in the video and from various comment sections around the web regarding this app, and I can't seem to get it working. This may be a good thing, though, since my understanding is that if AT&T catches onto this, they force you

This reminds me of the book Rejuvenile by Christopher Noxon.

VOTE: Final Cut Pro X, since I'm now on my Mac.

Is it just me, or is the actress who plays the "scalped" woman SNL alum Anna Gasteyer?

Man, I could've sworn I saw something like this recently on television . . . Oh yeah:

I'd love to try this, but it looks like Twixtor is not yet compatible with Final Cut Pro X. Is there any similar software out there that is?

I have a Pogoplug that I bought a couple of years ago, but I haven't really taken advantage of it. I tried using it to store and stream videos, but that tended not to work well because of how long it took for videos to be recompressed by the pogoplug, and then streamed. Can anyone suggest some good uses for the

This looks awesome! Does anyone know if there is a similar-type ride here in the U.S.? I imagine ski resorts or other mountain areas may have something. I'd love to be able to ride this.
