The Economist has a cover article about the Republicans walking/running away from Democracy.
That these people weren’t charged with insurrection and treason and so on is further proof of the GQP’s attitudes towards freedom and fairness ie they don’t believe in it.

So.
The problem is that there’s no amount of money that should have ever been spent on such a monstrosity for such a tiny town and place.
It’s pathetic and ridiculous, especially given that the fire department is volunteer and I’m sure any schools or clinics nearby could use whatever money was spent on such a thing.

Well.
Thank goodness they’re spending the money responsibly.

Also?
They usually have warm blankets available if you’re cold, and often hospitals are kept chilly.
And as difficult as being sick is, be your own best advocate:
Know why you’re there, mark it on your body somewhere in Sharpie marker.
