What I don't understand is how Gawker, a huge corporation that has a "tech" site, doesn't have anyone tech savvy enough to figure a way to stop this shit. It's annoying.

I see a conspiracy. They didn't show the cat landing safely in this net... I'm assuming they had a cat double to make the story cute and inspirational...

I absolutely love his response. Polo took a cheap shot and Tom defended himself. I don't see why you take this stance that Tom is an asshole. Are you jealous that he wisely sold off his investment before it tanked? That's the American dream!

I would have liked for Gizmodo to post this is real so that all the D-Bag trolls could have been "I knew it was real all along." Then, Casey could have updated the story to say, "By the way, it's all fake." I'm looking at you vanti!

I think you're the stoner of the Gizmodo world because while that dog may have beagle in it, it is by no means just a beagle. And btw, my Beagle is damn smart and is trained as a hunting dog. He points with the best of them! I'd go so far as saying he's smarter than you... :)

Do you work? If so, what do you do? I'd love to know how you carry out this business model and be profitable. I think you are just impatient.

Cole, no matter what you say next, I won't believe you unless your answer is no. Have you even watched the entire series of the West Wing? Even the characters have strong resemblances... Harvard Political Review said it best: "Like The West Wing, The Newsroom is earnest and political. It has the same idealistic male

I would consider getting a netflix account again just for this. It looks promising.

Ever since the recycled "West Wing part II," came out, more popularly known as "The Newsroom," I don't find any joy in Aaron Sorkin. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge West Wing fan and own every season. However, my expectations for the Newsroom were shattered when almost every episode was lifted from recycled bits of

lol I love the people that took you seriously...

I don't already have an optical cable. My receiver has 4 hdmi inputs (1. Cable 2. Blu-Ray 3. Apple TV 4. Roku) and then one HDMI cable that runs out to the tv and goes into HDMI 1. So no optical cable. I mean it doesn't really matter it was just a thought. Still, if this is meant to be plug and play, it's still

because the audio would still need to go through the receiver to go to the speakers. And since HDMI isn't running out of my tv to the receiver, I need to run optical to the receiver. I suppose if my receiver has HDMI MHL that would be fine but it doesn't. No big deal.

What I don't get is why have the stick at all? Why not just have a downloadable app on these smart tv's that costs $100? The benefit to move this from TV to TV would be outweighed by the hassle to attach this thing to a mounted TV. Not to mention, If I do that, I'm going to have to run an optical cable through my wall

Or a less dense liquid that was trapped in a more dense liquid that eventually solidified as it rose up. Erosion eventually shaped them.

Does anyone remember that website that allows you to use a foreign IP address or something like that (I'm not tech savvy so take that with a grain of salt)? I remember doing that to get my Spotify account when it was only offered in the UK. Could you route your access through Swedish servers and then get access that

Just wondering why Molly Oswaks hasn't responded? 24 replies and nothing from her. I thought you writers were going to get involved in commenting. Instead, Molly, you ask a question then can't defend your biased assessment on what everyone is describing as "paid advertising." How about these 3 reasons of why he

I agree, I recently bought a roku just for Amazon Prime. I wish I could just keep my Apple TV and not have two little black boxes.
