The 288 GTO was built for a road circuit series using Group B rules that never got off the ground. I don’t think rallying was ever on Ferrari’s mind, especially by the 80's when 4WD cars dominated.

I like it, but looks like they’re phoning it in by just copying the design features of the Vanquish Zagato.  I guess if it works, keep going with it.

I’ve not read the manga, does he become gigantic not too far along the series?

Car designers made it easier to tell how flush your wheels are.

On the other hand, it looks more like Lancia’s logo.

The pronunciation reminds me of this old gem:

Norton F1!

I think Laguna Seca was mentioned because sprawl has now reached the area and the people that moved in complain about the noise.

From watching a lot of Best Motoring and Initial D, it seems like the numbers in the model names are in English and the chassis codes in Japanese.

I read somewhere there’s no RX-6 because it’s hard for Japanese speakers to pronounce.

Pit lane reporter said the 77 had a turbo failure.

Did the RX-3s have the Gatorade sponsored livery? Mazda literature says it was poor air filtration that led to the rotaries eating sand. Is there more to it than that?

At the very least, I hope the car doesn’t catch fire and all the wheels stay on.  If they can run full speed for the whole race, that’s as good as a win to me.

Lacoste has a cooler logo though. They need to do another collaboration.

The Japanese BRZ commercial is very much in tone with the American Subaru “Love” commercials.

How about a rubber bag?

Damn, and he can still do the back flip?!

Did the flag guy miss the #10 Cadillac as it went by?

$80-$100k can go far with getting a used race car plus spares.

They brought back the DB4 GT, which is sportier than the DB5.
