Without another monster there’s going to be talky scenes filling up the running time.

I agree, I’m sure open cars make the aerodynamicists frustrated.
Thus the hoseable interior.
I have no interest in owning a Bug, but I almost got that book for the illustrations alone. The writing is done very well too, way more accessible to non-wrenchers than a Haynes manual.
For a discount you can storm off in your farty Maxima.

Not a complaint, but are there not any shots of the orange and green No. 55 Mazda at speed? It’s the biggest change in livery this year.
I thought “DOAAAAA” was correct.
“trying to rob a cow in a car” ? Do cows carry cash in Pakistan?
They’re very competitive this year, qualified on pole at Laguna Seca.
FTO and MX-6 are the prettiest FWD cars that should have been RWD.
Now you’ve made me dig out my RX-8 book, which has a section devoted to the 787B. It says it had 8 gallons of fuel left in its tank of the 674 allowed (using 666, lol) for the race over 3059 miles, which averages to 4.6mpg. Mazdaspeed made a fuel economy calculator for the car and had their drivers change their style…
Rotaries weren’t singled out. Anything that wasn’t a 3.5L V10 was banned. So Jaguar V12s, Nissan and Porsche turbos were out too.
I think a better comparison would be a V12 from the SA22's era. There’s a big technology gap between the Aventador and even an FD.
At full throttle the fuel economy of a rotary is not that different from a recip. Ceramic apex seals and cermet coated housings sure help a lot for a 24 hour race.
They’ll sell more street cars if it looks like the race car.
The Turbo II’s had a tougher transmission and rear end. This car does have an appropriate T-56, but it’s rolling dice on the rear if hard launches are done.
Zoobooks taught me this is the mantis’ “get out” stance, so it’s already scared or disturbed.
