This thing is very easy on the eyes!

I was not prepared to be this impressed.

Currently all my cars/truck are manual.  It next car will likely be electric...so it will be the end of an era for me.

Seriously?! With the number of people I see driving at night without lights on, you would think they would INCREASE stops for this infraction, not stop them. I can’t remember the last time I was driving at night and didn’t see at least 1 or 2 people without lights.

What exactly is the purpose of that new law?

That’s a pretty dumb law. It’s also kinda ridiculous that existing examples that have already been sold have to be retrofitted.

it’s a few grand higher.  THAT IS A FEW THOUSAND x2 STAMPS

Its mechanically sound....right now. No saying how long it will stay that way though.

They really aren’t as bad as their reputation would suggest. The problem is that historically they were pretty damn cheap; so people bought them wanting supercar looks but not wanting to pay the maintenance. It’s a hand built entry level super car that was pushing 120bhp/litre in the ‘80s. It will need preventative

I agree NP, but the Electrics... DEAR GOD! The Electrics!!! 🙄

Who cares? It’s what we live for! (kinda)

I have an airhorn that I try to keep handy. If you pick up you can hear yourself being connected to an operator, and at their first word they get the horn blast to the ear.  Doesn’t seem to keep me off many lists, but it is satisfying.

Speaking as a child of the 80’s, NP. It’s all I can do not to empty out the bank account in the middle of an economy killing pandemic to buy that thing.

“I mean look at it” is the correct take. NP.

Just K/LS-swap it!

I’ve said it before and it bears repeating: buying a car is an emotional decision. Your brain is involved but only because that’s where all the serotonin-oozing neurons live.

As a matter of clarification (from someone who has personally done this engine swap a handful of times), the 2.5L car and the 3.4L car have the same ECU. The ECU from the 2.5L car just has to be told that it should expect the 3.4L engine. (Specifically, the intake is bigger on the 3.4L car but they use the same mass

Yeah, not swapping the ECU when you pulled the engine and gauge-cluster from the donor vehicle makes little sense. All I can think is that the donor car was flood damaged, so the electronics were toast.

All of the suggestions are bad and the people who made them should feel bad for suggesting them.

That lane keep assist ain’t gonna do shit when the lines are all worn off
