Start the day with another Kinja eff-up! An invisible poll! But I clicked a button and it turned out to be the right one. Mostly clean, mostly likeable Bronco that I could DD and not worry (too much) about what happened to it.
I guess Nissan shouldn’t have gone Rogue.
Please don’t drive around your newborn baby in a 60 year old Corvair, unless you really have no other option. I feel like that should go without saying, but here we are.
Yeah, a shotgun would be my initial response.
Not sure if this is the first day for it or not, but dig the new logo.
I disagree*. Buying more truck than you need is foolish. You aren’t impressing anyone by DD’ing a full size truck back and forth from your job in middle management.
I am offended.
You are talking about “Mr Test drive in a Lambo using a seat that isn’t bolted in” right? As in the Lambo being discussed here ;)

Step 1 to a 13mo old son is meeting a girl. If step 1 has not been completed, you don’t have a son.
Ha! Trust me, if you had one of those in the house, you’d know!
Problem is, for Subarus, getting something under that price means astronomical miles for newer, or older than 2011 which means the infamous head gasket nightmare. The sliderule seems daunting. I know, because I am in the same boat looking for a sub-$10k right now.
Make sure you get the fluid changed by the dealer, and install a trans cooler if you can. I heard that the cooler helps, but the early CVTs were not known for their reliability....
Yep, CRV for the win IMO. Rav4 is good too, but wasn’t as comfortable for me. I picked up a 2007 crv ex-l with over 150k on it for WELL under $10k. It’s been great to me on several long road trips with the family and dog.
yep. add various mazdas to the list too (mazda 3 hatch, mazda 5/7).
Not the cr-v. Their 4x4 is almost useless... Nisan if possible, but let's be honest, he needs a toyota. They will run forever with a bit of. Maintenance
