I would assume they’re slogging ahead to reach a production minimum to negate some of the sunk costs. It’s only on its fourth model year and didn’t get a facelift if I recall correctly; it likely needs to get through the 5th year to complete the product cycle and get close enough to original sales estimates to

It took the Italians to make a glass cockpit look like it belongs.

More infuriating is when dealers list vehicles as having a manual transmission, but it’s an auto-manual (paddle shifters).

I agree the best you can hope for is to not lose money on a fun car, which is actually a win.

My car cannot be better than my clients

I also owned an E46 M3. And while it was a great car it wasn’t exactly super light. I also found mine to be a little under powered which lead me to install an ESS supercharger kit on it. It weighed 3400 lbs. I was always impressed with the third gen RX-7 weighing 2700 lbs. Now that’s a full 700 lbs less which is huge.

Or an even worse imitation thereof.

Driven monthly.  Period.

Oh look. A company has to cut fat, yet pay the top guy millions of dollars for this failure instead of sacking his ass.

Ohh look, another guy who has zero leadership knowledge commenting about leadership.

1,800$ for a relatively clean car that car run on its own power is never going to be CP.

I’m shocked!

Yeah, was gonna point out Hoovie’s Lexus as well. While 8k is a little high, I think 5-6k would be totally worth it provided there are no major issues with it.

If it was completely stock with the manual for a bit less money, it would be a nice price.

Finding the Mustang II "amenable" is a sign of mental illness.

If it’s still under warranty, Alfa would be on the hook for fixing it.

OK, first of all, thank you for these photos. They are awesome.

2nd Gear: the most luxurious dealership service waiting room is one that I never have to visit.

Sure, but as of now, it’s the only way they’re recouping those costs directly.

That’s great news!
