I saw this and thought Murano. Based on size, I was wrong but honestly, I think Nissan needs this.

I’m at a buy and hold with Jalopnik money, not my own money. But if I were in the market, I don’t think the price is ridiculous and would buy it thinking that I’d get back what I paid for it.

I said NP because it’s a two door and will be hard to find a decent example of one of these in 10 years.

This is a newly designed car and they could fit the grill design into it if they wanted. I think BMW wants in a trend that is hard to enter - a lot of companies have a “grill” that spans the entire front of the car. I think Audi started it - and did it well. Lexus did it and I think it’s more miss than hit. BMW would

Maybe I missed that (lack of coffee). But why did it need to even go to court. The shop knew the mechanic made a mistake. It should have offered to settle without the need for an attorney.

The F-Sport version of the grill is nicer than the non-F Sport. Color also helps. That said, I feel it would look nicer if the grill were smaller - not much, but smaller.

I may be in the minority here, but I am not a fan of those early BMWs. That said, I still think those grills look far more elegant and fit the styling of the car. I’m also willing to be, they were functional.

I think on the bigger cars/trucks, it’s not as bad....but on the smaller cars, it seems disproportionate and overpowers the front of the beast..I mean car.

I was being sarcastic. I’m with you - I’m not a fan either, nor am I a fan of the BMW Schnooze.

Guy’s, I’m not sure why everyone’s got their nickers in a bunch. When Lexus introduced their “spindle” grill everyone hated it. Now look at it everyone loves and praises it...

Hearing this makes me angry and I could not finish reading this article. In my mind, it demonstrates a problem we have in our legal system. They completely missed the point. If you take your car in for a tire rotation service, you expect that the mechanic will:

I think this could be a make or break for Mazda - Price this right and I think they have a winner here.

Totally in the wrong for tugging on Abby and forcing her to re-direct her urine stream.

I don’t think the Mods are out of line and the price is far - this is one of the best Porsche’s. The only thing that would frighten me is the mileage.

I think you just answered your own question. Everyone wants a CUV (why, I don’t know, but they do). The HR-V is a really a raised Fit. Then they graduate into a CRV, followed by the Odyssey, a Pilot and then retire into the Passport....and this is why the sedan is dying.

You’re right - a lot of companies will get caught with their pants down....I guess we’ll see in a few years...

You’re not wrong, but people are spending $4,000 more on the HR-V rather than buying the Fit. Why? I don’t know. Chances are the Fit and an HR-V can handle bad weather roughly the same, so it’s not that. Cargo wise, I am willing to bet is close too. So on paper, the Fit should be a go. Yet, people are willing to spend

I thought the same way, and then I watch one of Doug DeMuro’s videos about how this SUVs movement was different and going to change the automotive landscape (It was on “More Doug”). One of the points made is that SUVs are far more efficient than they were 10 - 15 years ago.

LOL - I don’t mean a deal breaker for your relationship. If the Fit wasn’t an option, would she have gotten the HR-V or picked up a small car from another brand.
