Yes. When you see the baby turtles being born on a city beach in the final episode - go make a cup of tea or something. I’m still not over that one.

I was dragged to Hell or High Water but actually really enjoyed it, it’s kind of a modern Western/ crime thriller, with great performances.

The imbalance of male and female attractiveness on the show really pissed me off. Like, she looks like a model and is serially obsessed with schlubby/weedy guys, and he is pretty average looking and has a series of total knock-outs throwing themselves at him.

Ugh I don’t think I can do it. I watched S1 all the way through hoping it would get better but it was a just a slog - the main characters are deeply unlikeable and their relationship is dumb, the laughs were spread way too thin and knowing Gus and Mickey were going to end up together sucked the tension out.

Adding insult to injury over Trump’s rude phone call to the Australian prime minister this week, Spicer has never once pronounced his name correctly. The guy’s name is Malcolm Turnbull, Spicer keeps saying Mr Trumble or Mr Trunbull. The Australian press has been in stitches.

Exactly. I get that shows like this one and SATC like grouping wildly different women together for the sake of drama and contrast but it’s painfully stupid and completely unbelievable at this point for Girls. That they’re such shitty friends to each other too is just depressing to watch. It’s a city of 8million

Right? It’s bad enough that the show will be stuffed full of ad breaks on the new network - which means far less baking per episode (if it stays as a one hour show) but now we have to have new hosts?

Preach. I’m 5'2" and always feel like someone is pulling me up my my crotch (or pushing down on my shoulders via the straps)..

When I was starting out as a journalist I was warned by senior colleagues not to make customer service complaints from my work email address as it could give the appearance of threatening bad media coverage unless I got some kind of special treatment - an unethical abuse of my position.

The trailer is woeful - that thumping music, the fast cuts not allowing any real dialogue to come through, no sense of character or plot. Hopefully the film will be good though, if those reviews are anything to go by.

Yep. I work in the media and opening your mentions every day to a stream of abuse is really affecting. Some of these commenters above don’t seem to be hectoring her, but I also kinda get why she might have that reflexive instinct to online criticism. With her activism on gun rights and general feminist politics in her

Um, I always thought it was Jack’s hand.

Amen. I am five feet tall, these dresses make me look like a mushroom. The day this trend is over I will rejoice.

Yes! I really like Simmons to and am rooting for him but find this extremely awkward.

I am really not cool with Emily Ratajkowski trying to parlay her Blurred Lines/Gone Girl/Naked Instagram fame into becoming some kind of feminist postergirl for body positivity.

Or when he said: “we literally can’t say goodbye to you enough”.

Trevor Noah’s farewell was so awkward and stilted and fell so far short of what she deserves it was painfully clear why she no longer belongs on this show. I stopped watching a while ago but tuned in last night for this, and just cringed. Looking forward to seeing you in something awesome Jessica!

Yep. After her whole “let’s go burn their houses and steal their crops” speech to the Dothraki two weeks ago I really hope she fails. She’s an entitled little tyrant who would make a terrible queen.

Ugh I am so worried about Brienne. She has been such a star this season, has survived so long, shown such heroism, I am fearing she is being set up for fall. Could. Not. Deal.

Seconded.
