Yesss. So much about it didn’t make sense. Daya being pregnant for 3 seasons being the main one, but I also found lots of the crime flashbacks really lame this year. Like Flacca being a cute goth high schooler who gets done for selling fake LSD? Did not gel with her character at all. It feels like they’re so intent on

Yes to the New Girl sucking since they brought in Coach. It used to be my go-to cheesy sitcom - not super clever but consistently funny and sweet, with good characters you could root for.

Yes! Her show this year was probably the most talked about, culturally relevant show on television, as well as one of the most widely praised comedies. The writing on the 12 Angry Men parody episode alone should have earned it a nod. Trainwreck was fine, imo, some funny bits but overall not great.

No link to the actual story? That's a bit off isn't it?

Oh that is so awful. I really hope they’re coping ok, it sounds like they and the rest of your family have been through the most trying circumstances. It’s heartbreaking to think what that adopted child had been through early in life that made her that way.

Ugghhhhhhhhh

I think you're totally right. Noah has been doing ok with the scripted bits of the show but he flails in the interviews - even the super easy ones, asking odd and awkward questions. Anyone could tell he's not up to delivering the smart, incisive interview needed in these circumstances.

Given everything that asswipe of an ex put her through she can post obnoxious pictures of this wedding forever as far as I’m concerned.

There will always be silly crass blockbuster comedies, but damn if it isn't awesome to be living in an era when Melissa McCarthy, and not Adam fucking Sandler, is the star of most of them.

Yeah she should have been paid double for having to work so hard to try to get some life out of those lines and some chemistry out of those sex scenes. It was still the worst film I’ve sat through in the last decade (maybe ever?) but props to her, she tried.

It looks to me though like they went a bit OTT with trying to make Rachel McAdams look frumpy by putting her in those huge button-down shirts. Like, women newspaper journalists may not fuss over their appearance much but we can pick out a shirt that fits, dammit.

Yep it was great, while it lasted.

Am so looking forward to this, and think it’s going to make me all nostalgic for my days working at a newspaper. I love the Internet and online news, but there is nothing quite like big, day after day, front page exposes to put the wind up awful people in power.

Way to capture the mostly-positive-but-a-bit-annoyed feels I had when I watched this show. Most was observant and great. But the too-chill girlfriend really irked me. Like, she shows up just when he needs her, is super cool about him never calling her after sex, is down to go away at the drop of a hat, and is even

Really stupid comment but there really are some men who think having lube means they don’t need to spend anytime getting a woman aroused and wet before trying to have intercourse, because they can just quickly lube up. These men are selfish assholes. Better advice would have been: don’t have sex with selfish assholes.

William’s ex-gf penned a rather interesting reply on HuffPo where she called bullshit on his whole ‘I-was-too-good-at-at-it-so-she-squirted’ line.

Growing up in Australia during decade-long droughts we used to have “Dob in a drip” (Dob being Australian slang for tattle) hotlines, official ones but also informal radio talk back call ins, for when you spotted your neighbour watering their yard in the middle of the day, or leaving the sprinkler on. Kind of mob

Mine too. Alda is a presidential candidate I could get behind.

This.

Kinda Alan Alda.
