"Barton Fink" was the first thing I thought of when they used the repeated motif of the impatient guest(s) banging on the desk-bell.

I first saw the RHPS in high school, 16 0r 17 at the time. But the best memory of seeing it was when it played at my college in the early 90s ('92 or '93.) I went to a pretty conservative Catholic college in rural, upstate NY. Lots of drinking, lots of drugs, but not very progressive and certainly not gay-friendly.

I'm not sure what to make of Clara climbing into another Dalek casing - after all, we did first meet her as "Oswin" the souffle-loving impossible girl who was revealed to be a Dalek in the end. Is this foreshadowing for Clara's forthcoming departure? She gets turned into a Dalek once again?

The scene in which Beck visits Bender in the hospital and encourages him to pursue his dream took me out of the show. I thought "Beck would've really encouraged him to take an interest in Scientology."

EST was more of a late 70's fad. I don't even know if it existed as early as 1969, but it certainly wouldn't be popular or trendy enough yet for an East coast post-debutante like Margaret to get into. (I could imagine the new groovy, laid back Pete Campbell being an early convert though.)

Predictions for this season on "Mad Men" :
-Sally and Glen run away to attend the Woodstock festival. Glen drops the brown acid and has a freakout.
- Bob Benson makes a return visit and escorts a frustrated Joan out for an evening of fun in the West Village - at the Stonewall, on the evening of the day that Judy Garland
