I liked the red. I ended up getting one with the red exterior which they don’t offer red interior on (which is too much red). I got a nice Rotor Grey interior and not black.

David - even if GM is profitable they are (at least trying to be) smart enough to realize it won’t last and they’ll need to be better to resist another recession. UAW seems to always live like there never will be another one until there is and then they’ll cry and say it’s GM’s fault they aren’t profitable.

I wish I was about 5 years earlier and I would’ve enjoyed the new 2nd Gen Eclipse.

33% owned I believe by DaimlerChrysler. They pretty much co-developed all their products with Chrysler at the time too. That Eclipse was a re-bodied Chrysler Sebring coupe and vice-versa. Oddly though the Sebring Convertible at the same time wasn’t related to the Coupe or Eclipse Spyder!

Being in High School from ‘01-’05 I can confirm this. I hated that gen so much then as I do now.

The answer seems to be, again, GTI. Get a 2019 with a nice 6 year bumper to bumper warranty. You could get one fully optioned for under $30k now with rebates/money off. There’s plenty of rich people who buy GTIs too.

I loved the ‘08's color and wheel package. Great looking wagon!

It’s her right to leave and negotiate more money, it’s there right to offer what they feel the people would accept the job for. I’m not sure what this is about other than saying they didn’t value her enough so she left? That’s a gamble the production company can make. It’s contract work, not salary employment anyway

I’ve seen $14k off in St. Louis on occasion. A GT2 was under $40k when I looked a few months ago.

Depends on the rate and how long you keep it. A good percentage of people will only keep it 2 years which you’d never recuperate the cash off you were offered.

They were bad for other reasons before dieselgate - they thought they were Audi dealers!

Great car with zero real issues to me buying but the reasons why not to buy one always weighs in

I think it doesn’t work quite that way. One F1 finding a new owner doesn’t change the fact they were insane cars and would still be worth $19 million. It may change it from $19.5 to 19.4 million, maybe.

It would be GREAT to do this but, you know, the reason why they increase in value is scarcity when new so there’s no way you’d get a warehouse full of them simply because that many didn’t exist, which is why the value is so high now. You’d probably be better off finding one of each type of car that’s value exploded

German car fanboi here - new Supra is the first Toyota I can remember wanting, so I guess they have a market!

I’d personally get a base 2LT and add the front lifter. Still be well under $70k and have a super-car in a lot of ways.

I’ve seen them in the wild for a couple weeks around where I live. They are pretty hard to distinguish from the old model. I mean, you can tell sure, but I bet most people would never know it was all-new.

I had a 2018 S3 and been in a 2019 S3 - they still retract. Just not on any models that came out after this gen A3.

I prefer people not to have a culture of not allowing women to show their face and given any rights but that’s just me. I guess some company who sells chicken sandwiches and values their own beliefs are the bad guys.
