I’m just saying that just because Franken’s replacement will be another Democrat, it doesn’t mean that the replacement is going to be a good one. Franken actually acted from time to time, which is more than I can say for a lot of the democrats (who prefer to complain without actually doing anything).

This is a fair and reasonable response to my inaccurate hyperbole (please show yourself out). Still, I feel like a lot of us who were enthusiastic about President Obama were far more tepid about Hillary’s candidacy. And even if that was justified, it played a role in bringing about our current waking nightmare.

Literally DOZENS of non-aligned voters will remember this come November 2018! DOZENS! (sigh)

It actually looks great! I’m happy they’re finally leaving 8-bit behind. It was fine for a retro revival for Mega Man 9 but overstayed its welcome in 10.

Again, I didn’t say there haven’t been problems that are worth discussing, but the ravenous negativity is just so grating.

I’m so done with the unbridled negativity of the Destiny community lately. These changes sound good and I’m happy to hear about it. No one seems to have any patience for the development process.

Or even more. Games are really cheap today. It wasn’t too unusual for SNES or Genesis games (Phantasy Star at least) to be $70 or $80. And that was 25+ years ago. With inflation those games are like $120-$160 today.

The closest I can think of is Amiibo. Buying a Bowser Amiibo for example, gives you purple coin hints. So following Kirk’s argument, you could say they may have hid coins in trickier spots, to tempt people into buying those Amiibo.

Most companies actually count on most people not putting very much money into F2P games. They count on whales, the small minority that put TONS of money into the game, to make them most of their money.

Since no one else has posted about the good things of Civ VI, I will say that as someone who usually plays on Emperor difficulty, that I enjoy the hell outta Civ VI.

Now now, I for one loved the stacks of doom... especially when some asshole stacks his entire army on one square trying to siege my canal city and I just nuke my own city because GANDHI AIN’T GOT SHIT ON ME YO!
