Blindsided, you should count yourself lucky that that relationship ended, and it should stay ended.

This is really cool in concept. I wish had the patience for stealth games, and/or enjoyed them.

The Standard Edition for PC, that normally goes for $40 (before the price goes up to $60), is available for $23.99 on the Humble store. I picked it up yesterday.

On the one hand, I’m not an Assassins Creed fan, but on the other hand I’m a little miffed that this content will apparently not ever be available on the PC, which is where I’ll (finally) end up buying and playing FF XV. (GTX 1080ti graphics and M.2 SSD load times for the win.)

I am so tired of people whining over the price point of indie games. You’re talking about at most $4-$5/hr for what has been described by multiple sites as a nearly flawless gaming experience. And that price/hr ratio is only if you fly through the game.

I’ve also been debating this. I think the precision of the Elite controller and the twitchy nature of Celese’s gameplay means I should buy this on the PC instead of on the Switch.

I am in tears from laughing at this. Thanks, Fahey!

You highlight a number of quality of life mods I used during my play through. The only one you missed was being able to store a maximum of 8, instead of 6, AP points. I love that mod.

Rift really was WOW 2.0 when it launched. By far, my favorite initial experience with an MMO.

Came here expecting this article to about the weapon drop issue, specifically, that literally none of the new weapons are available as drops right now.

Some idiot (okay, probably some really nice guy) at the New Yorker, or maybe New York Mag, did a piece yesterday on how flour tortillas, if well done, can be revelatory. That, of course, is nonsense. Corn tortillas for life!

When gate checking, I ALWAYS used to get my bag on the runway. That has changed in the last six months or so, and now my gate-checked bags almost always end up in baggage claim. Since the only reason I don’t check a bag is because I don’t feel like waiting for it at baggage claim when I land, I almost never gate check

The omission of Diablo III is a little glaring.

Triumph over that paralysis, because instead I just spent an entire week playing Divinity Original Sin 2.

I had no idea this was a thing, and it’s such an amazing thing! Thanks for sharing, Luke.

This was a very smart move by Microsoft. When you don’t have any good new reasons for anybody to choose your console over the competition, you might as well give them a bunch of old reasons.

Yeah, that element of the story struck me as “so what,” because Franco is obsessed with pornography. Run through his IDMB page and look at what he’s been involved in over the last four years.

It’s such an awesome distillation of the original series, removing much of the filler, and the animation is incredible. You should watch it as soon as possible.

You spent a lot on ram, and since you’re rocking an older motherboard and processor, I’m not sure you didn’t overspend on the ram. You also: (1) don’t need a Windows license to have sufficient usability with Windows 10 to play games; and (2) overspent on the windows license, regardless.

Keeping up with the Jones’s and not being above middle class are not the same thing.
