- I always adjust the slider so that the image/logo/icon is more than just slightly visible.
“Metroid-like” is a better term than “Metroidvania” for many of the games labeled “Metroidvania.” To be a “Metroidvania,” the game needs RPG-elements like Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Salt & Sanctuary is a “Metroidvania”; Axion Verge is a “Metroid-like.”
Vagrant Story! I’d love a spiritual successor to that game.
I use a google account. I regularly have my map disappear out from under me in-game, have poke-stops that are not available (“try back later”) and deal with a totally unresponsive game screen or incredible lag. I’m frequently unable to log in - the initial loading bar just gets stuck.
My only foray into nootropics came in in the form of Kimera coffee, which is infused with nootropics. It’s fine coffee (pre ground, so not exceptional) but I didn’t notice any real effects beyond the very mild reaction I have to caffeine. I have a pretty small response to stimulants generally, however, so this didn’t…
Fahey, I ran into a problem like this trying to play I Am Setsuna on my PC with my Xbox Elite Controller, wireless. My problem was actually worse, because having the controller connected to my pc when i booted the game resulted in the game effectively locking up - I couldn’t use the controller or the keyboard to…
I wasn’t aware that any “argument” was needed for the proposition that Bloodborne is a modern classic. The game is peerless, significantly superior to its spiritual predecessors and successor. I’ve not played anything this generation that I’ve enjoyed more.
Audiobooks are awesome. I read for a living (attorney), so it’s pretty wonderful that I can “read” fiction by listening to it - on commutes, while waiting in line, and at the gym. Protip: the Audible player allows you to play back books at 1.25, 1.5, 2x speeds (and faster), which, while it means I finish books faster…

You won the internet today (I guess yesterday?). Congrats!
Mom finds out Dad brought kid to professional tournament in which kid played. Mom tattles on Dad to court. Dad gets held in contempt or thrown in jail.
The Nioh demo was awesome. I probably would have bought the game absent the demo because the game is Dark Souls, but the demo made me proselytize the game to others.
Probably next to no actual “chocolate” in those chocolate covered cherries.
Damn, this is available for the Wii U now? I guess I know how I’m spending my July 4th weekend down time.
I think I could probably play 2d Dark Souls-style games forever, and nothing else, and be perfectly content. Salt and Sanctuary is awesome. Eitr and Death’s Gambit look like a blast as well.
It’s the reason I didn’t even start the game. Bought the game, got a few turns into the first tutorial mission, and went “nope!” Glad I’ll get to revisit it this fall, though I’d wish I’d noted the lack of gamepad support first before purchasing.
I think Bloodborne is better in pretty much every way than Dark Souls 3, but Dark Souls 3 is still one of the 12 best games for the Playstation 4. Was it excluded because of it’s similarities to Bloodborne, which exceeds it? Will you include Dark Souls 3 on the list of the Xbox One’s 12 best games?
You should be able to recoup a couple hundred on that, I would think, from somebody who wants to SLI.
Counterpoint: I’ve found that the smith machine is very useful for seated calf raises and hip thrusters. My gym doesn’t have a machine for either, and I find that I just don’t engage my calves or my glutes enough through deadlifting or squatting.
A straight up Vagrant Story remake would be incredible. A sequel would also be awesome. There’s never really been another game like it. One of my favorite games of all time, for sure.
On the contrary, fast vs. slow-digesting protein really won’t make any differences in the long run on your body composition. (Would love to see any studies you might be able to point me to that supports your position, though, and I’m not being facetious here!) Much more important, if you’re trying to build muscle, is…
