Stone did go to Vietnam before enlisting. He briefly taught English and later served in the Merchant Marines. The book was largely based on that when he wrote it at 19. When publishers rejected his manuscript, he tossed numerous sections out and rewrote it many years later after his time in the Army.

The chairman of Time Warner was on record saying he was more concerned about the Democrats over Trump because of the possibility they would target campaign finance. (Who doesn't love to watch endless campaign ads 24/7 for 6-8 months during an election year?). We really need to get the money out.

He got Professor Murder to play at the fat kid's camp.

Bill Clinton wasn't born with a silver spoon.

This deserves multiple upvotes.

My sentiments exactly. I dislike the Hux character immensely and this scene is the reason why. Totally unnecessary and awful.

Someone mentioned Debra Winger as a possible replacement if they have to do it.

Sadly, people on the left are not even discussing voter suppression as a factor. I can understand the mainstream media will not bring it up because it goes against their narrative of economic anxiety taking the Republicans over the top.

It's the Okay If You're a Republican rule. If President Obama tried that tactic with McCain in 08, his campaign would have been ruined.

It is frustrating for me too when pundits and other politicians never mention Crosscheck and other voter suppression tactics as factors that contributed to the election results. (Tom Perez, running for DNC chairman, has said if elected, he will appoint someone to combat voter suppression, which is a start).

Wish I could give this 10 upvotes.

"She gets involved any further. I'll throw her out a higher window."

"Mayors come and go. Blue bloods tire easy. You think you can go 15 rounds with Muhammad Shreck?"

"I'm sorry..I thought you were Richard Pryor."

His Dad's strong like the Hulk!

I'm so used to watching cable network/Netflix/Amazon programming with 10-13 episodes a season that getting back to network shows with nearly twice that number of episodes a season can be a bit of a slog. I like the show a great deal, but I wouldn't have minded a 10-13 episode per season run.

With the incoming administration, I'm sure it's priority one.

Howard Fucking Dean was crucified by the media for being a tad over enthusiastic at a rally 12 years ago. If only Dean encouraged the crowd to threaten journalists, he might have been considered presidential.
