When Spock Prime showed up, I half wanted the movie to just stop and have Quinto say to the camera"Ladies and Gentlemen, please give it up for tonight's guest star Leonard Nimoy."

That's right, I forgot they did the Holiday Special.
I think the Holiday Special would be too obvious and kinda tired at this point.I guess there's still the Clone Wars animated movie. If one of them is from the OT, my bet would be Jedi.
Curious which Star Wars episode and commentary they're doing. Have a feeling one of them will be Attack of Clones.
Considering it was Lucas' own money on the line for Empire Strikes Back and witnessing his friend/mentor Francis Coppola facing potential bankruptcy over Apocalypse Now only a year or two earlier, I could understand his frustration with the budget ballooning.
I think directing the first Star Wars took a large mental and physical toll on Lucas. At one point, he nearly had a heart attack and was briefly hospitalized. After getting it made,I believe he wanted to focus on making Lucasfilm an independent and viable company that didn't have to answer to the studios.
No. This is Ceti Alphi V!!
Wrath of Khan is one of those rare blockbuster events that have more resonance when you revisit it as an adult. You can't dismiss it as a kid's film.
Being on the run with Jack Bauer kinda does that to you.
"Get back to stirring that sauce Jar-Jar!"
I would have been fine with Anakin as a 16 year old hot rod punk who's maybe not initially impressed with the Queen and the Jedis. Over the course of TPM, he begins to admire Qui Gon and wants to become a Jedi.
I vaguely recall watching an interview with Tarantino discusssing how he work shopped the Reservoir Dogs script at the Sundance Lab. I believe one of the mentors asked him to explain the subtext behind the White/Orange relationship.Tarantino said he didn't think about that, but after the mentor continued pressing the…
I would be for Mann a second time. I like the movie overall, but a second viewing got me thinking I wanted to see more of Wang's character than Hemsworth.
Lars Von Trier's Coupon: The Movie
A version of Blackhat where Leehom Wang was the lead and Hemsworth played the sacrificial character. Wang's storyline had more potential than having another trope of the prisoner released because he's the only one who can finish the task at hand.
Can Dylan Baker play Kevin's dad?
And Victoria's Secret models for some reason.
Or..there's a special train carrying slaves (led by blond haired Wesley Snipes ala Demolition Man) who decide for some reason to take it over and only a small ragtag band of courageous slave traders (Ryan Phillipe and Bruce Willis) can stop them. A real nailbiter! A Jerry Bruckheimer Production of A Simon West Film.
Not a remake, but if they were ever going to get around to bringing Night Court to the big screen. This was my casting roster circa 2006-07:
How awesome would it be seeing The Cooler King ride his bike over Tara?
