All I know is that when Kong jumped on Godzilla’s back for a ride, I really really wanted him to slug Godzilla in the back of the head to make his atomic breath shoot out. Just like Mario riding Yoshi.

Traditionally it’s X for kiss and O for hug, but you do you. “Godzilla hug Kong” would be equally poorly received.

Probably good, as it would have been competing with Godzilla x Kong (pronounced Godzilla kiss Kong).

I have been calling it “Godzilla kiss Kong” (as in xoxoxo being kisses and hugs) and my son hates it, so it must be correct.

I asked about it and he said in the first teaser there is a shot of the young girl, and Mothra’s reflection is visible in her eyes.

My son is 11 and a gigantic Godzilla fan. He spotted some part of Shimo in one of the earliest teasers - IIRC, literally a tiny background detail and a ‘different’ glow - and has predicted that Mothra would appear for months. He is excited beyond belief to see it this afternoon.
