It’s a personal preference, but I have a safer and easier way.

Even with the notable missing members, that’s pretty amazing to have pulled so many of the original actors back. Then again, by many accounts voiceover work is easy money.

One early tweet used a comma, and someone erupted “Fake! McCarthy never uses commas!”

Ditto this - I was skeptical on his casting, but by the end of the series he WAS Takeshi Kovacs.

I’m not a huge Ayer fan; I remember hearing an interview where he said part of why he wanted to make Suicide Squad was because “I guess I should do one of those superhero movies.” Because that’s a good motivation to make a film.

Villeneuve being involved had me sold. Even Sicario, a deeply dumb movie, oozed atmosphere and style with his direction.

Chalmet looks too young to play a fifteen-year-old?

I hope it makes more sense than the first G.I. Joe movie, which didn’t understand how ice worked.

Clearly ‘bad in a fight’ is the best and only reason.

What does GETTR have to do with Hillary Clinton? Sounds like a paean for Larry the Cable Guy’s “Get’er done!” motto.

I think the normal, non-mirror use of that expression is a facial reaction connected to thinking “what the hell am I looking at here?”

Which might also be the exact subconscious thought at play when a man sees himself in a mirror.

So, can you name a movie that you thought was actually good, or great? Or one that’s bad/terrible? It sounds like you maybe don’t pay attention too closely or care about things like plot or character, and that makes EVERYTHING sort of okay in the abstract.

Comment equivalent of a thumbs-up emoji.

Comcast/Xfinity provides an app which lets you control what devices have wifi access, and set time limits and/or manually pause/unpause access by device. For my 8-year old there’s a lot less drama when he has to take a break because “the internet is down” (I have paused his tablet/switch/etc.), versus me telling him

That’s an... extreme take. Grilling on foil is great for a lot of things.

It’s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.”

Huh. That’s interesting, and I’m sure it works, but... the stalk end is the handle for eating the thing. :)

My wife’s been microwaving corn for years and years, and wanted me to comment:

I learned how to do this in college. Don’t remember if it was inspired by Twin Peaks or not, though (weird old-man humblebrag) I was an original broadcast viewer, so it’s possible. It was a neat little trick, and one time even got me laid - “You can do what? Come with me...”
