I’m just kind of upset that he’s hoarded all these beautiful cars, many of which now seem beyond possibility of repair / working order.
Wind turbines would not work, the increased drag they would create would offset the power it generates.
I saw it on a livestream I watched on the event. But it’s pretty widely covered on (non mainstream) media sources.
They were prepared to deal with this. Riot police were in place and ordered to stand down until ordered to interfere. The city and mayor caused the violent clashes after they shut down the protest and kicked the alt-right out to where ANTIFA was protesting the alt-right. Then, when they were fighting the police stood…
Why on earth would Long Island to Manhattan not be a candidate? Use the space for the third track they’re building between Hicksville and Jamaica, then extend the Hyperloop to Penn Station. Manhattan -> Jamaica (JFK) -> Hicksville (Suffolk / Nassau County Midpoint). Heck, you an even expand it from Hicksville to the…
Why would anyone ever buy a 7 series, let alone a B7...? There are literally dozens of other cars I would much rather have in the same price range that are better than the BMW in almost every single aspect.
Who on earth were the roughly 3,000 people who thought this was a nice price? I have a bridge for sale... There are SO many cars you can get used at that same power range wrapped in a MUCH better car exterior for the same price.
Why do you even have to bring up race here? For the record, the man was latino.
The Headerless Horsepower.
Why do you just flash the high-beams for a split second by pulling the stalk towards you?
Just re-read the article. Not sure how I misunderstood that - thanks. 3.3L N/A -> 2.7L EB -> 3.5L EB -> 5.0L N/A. I think this is a great assortment and line-up, has an option for each type of buyer.
I said NP, but I was heavily considering CP at $22,500. I think this car is about $1,500 - $2,500 too high, at $20-21K this would be a no brainer for a NP.
This - 100%!
I can somewhat understand the 3.5L N/A and 3.5L Ecoboost, but also a new 3.3L N/A? Why not drop the 3.5L N/A and offer just 4 engines (3.3L N/A, 2.7L EB, 3.5L EB, 5.0 N/A)?
Did people not try to open the doors between the train cars? That should have provided sufficient cooling... I would think that a lot of the train cars would have not been as packed as others as well, helping to disperse the heat. I haven’t personally been on the F-line, but almost every subway car I’ve ever been on…
A more appropriate summary picture for the article would be a bird dead still stuck in the cage in a garbage can, not out and flying (which would imply birth).
How on Earth could you honestly consider GM as a “leader in EV”. Their Chevy Volt was a massive flop. Their Chevy Bolt EV (first modern electric car) is years after other fully electric cars to market and is no more efficient or innovative than a Model S, despite being much smaller.
You realize that “Wall Street” are not the people who control the prices or the stock market. The people working in big banks (big 3 / market makers) aren’t allowed to speculate or take positions, the smaller clients (hedge funds, asset managers, individual investors, etc) are the people who decide to speculate / take…
