As a native resident of a Tornado Alley state, the look and feel of this movie was spot-on. The plot...well...it’s just a movie. But the locations, vehicles, clothing and food were all perfection. I’m not ashamed to say that I’ve seen this movie (probably) over 50 times.  It’s one of my all-time favorites, and one of those movies that made me realize that I’m fascinated by weather.  It’s amazing that, 25 years later, the CGI still looks realistic and stands up to what we have today.  

Jonas got himself corporate sponsors. He’s in it for the money, not the science. That’s how he got those sweet Caravans. 

I’m ashamed of how many years and viewings it took me to realize that Bill probably doesn’t actually have liability-only on his brand-new truck. He only says that to halfheartedly try to discourage Jo from basically commandeering his truck.
