I use a similar system for timing my running - I'm training for a half marathon so it's important to do the right amount each time I go out - a couple of timed play lists on my phone is way better than setting alarms

I would also add:
I have a desktop 3GHz Quad core 4GB DDR3, 2x HD4550 with dual monitors (23" and 22" widescreens) running Win 7 which I mainly use (gaming, software dev etc.).

I've been seeing them since yesterday, my first response was to look and see if I could turn them off. Turns out there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to do so, anyone?
This got me thinking, surely a great market for this would be instant on OS's built into motherboards similar to the Asus Express gate. For when you don't need full blown Windows/Linux but you want a decent degree of usability and functionality.
