No way the dealers association would let that happen. But they can offer you an F-150, or a new Ford Excursion RS. It is about the same, they’ll say, and best, the can finance it for you for 326 months.

You know, if we just agreed to harmonize our safety, equipment, & emissions standards with the EU, it wouldn’t matter what automakers decided to sell in the US. Anybody that wanted a Euro-market only model badly enough would be free to go through the expense and hassle of buying one overseas and putting it on a ship.…
You should go do some research on RS Fords. They’ve been around for far longer than BMW M and the badge has graced numerous models over the last 50 years.
I use to enjoy a bit of American-trolling, but this isn’t funny anymore.
Yeah, they’re owned by PSA now, but Opel is still a German company... just like they were a German company when GM owned them.
It’s very tired as a joke and as it goes Lucas were really no worse than the competition of the time although it seems cars with Lucas electrics survived for a lot longer (usually in sought after British sports cars) and as such they get a lot of mentions.
I see way to many people that do call JLR Indian. Really grinds my gears too.
Is it 1972 again? As it goes the electronics are german I believe.
“French automaker Opel”
Do we say ‘Indian car maker Jaguar Land Rover” or” German car maker Skoda” because their parent companies are Indian and German?
Thanks I hate it, and am also glad that art did what it’s supposed to do: elicit emotion.
I think sound “tubes” are okay, but anything that utilizes a speaker to amplify engine noise can take a hike
SUVs of course. The fact that they’re terrible gas-guzzling dangerous garbage, while it is the reason why I wouldn’t want to own one, is not my objection to somebody crazy enough to want a crappy car like that having one for himself.
done by Aston’s special Q branch
And even the ones they sort of got right/didn’t totally screw up - 300, Magnum, Challenger, Town & Country, Caravan - were still cost cut practically to the bone and saddled with the worst Fisher Price interiors this side of Lada. And no amount of fake plastic tortoise shell trim could hide that.
The interiors were massive, unadulterated crap, the build quality was non-existent, the drivelines groaned endlessly while providing neither power or fuel economy, and shopping carts handled better. Honda, Toyota, Ford , Chevy, Subaru, and Nissan all offered better alternatives at the same cost. The only competition…
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.
