I really don’t like Randy Pobst. I respect his driving ability but he is super annoying. He keeps trying to be funny and it’s cringeworthy.

Unless you’ve been living in a cave then you would know Hammond had a crash. This isn’t new information.

The American import laws don’t just suck for you guys in the states. They suck for us in the UK too. I dreamed of owning an R32 GTR for years and years. I finally found myself in a position where I was in a decent paying job and could afford to run one. The only problem was that during the time I was saving up for one

I was 13, I got a call from my Grandad after school telling me to go to his because he had a surprise for me. I get there and sitting in his garage is an ex rally 1275cc classic Mini Cooper complete with stripped out interior, loud exhaust, bucket seats, Twin Weber carbs and a full roll cage.

downforce from a rear wing would push a car down onto the track this depressing it but most of a race cars downforce usually comes from the diffuser and underfloor. That kinda downforce effectively sucks the car down to the track and in turn would exert a pull upwards on the track surface. Yes I’m a nerd.

The 3000GT is the know-it-all teachers pet with a high IQ but zero people skills and is allergic to everything.

If the body and chassis is aluminium then any roll cage will have to be bolt in because roll cages are steel. It would still potentially add rigidity if done properly as that’s how aluminium bodied race cars are done but it may still not be road worthy.

If you ever visit a car styling studio you will see that all the clay models and prototype models etc. get painted silver. That’s because silver is actually one of the best colours for showing off shape. The bright lights from all angles are what is diluting the shape because you get no real variation of reflection

Good call, it did have plenty of E39 wagon in it.

Maybe they should try doing a modern take on the two central kidneys within a larger overall grille such as they did on the E21, E28, E30 and E34?

I wish you weren’t right but unfortunately you’re so right.

The first gen X5 was decent looking when it came out but I’m not with you on this on. Looks like it’s angrily flaring it’s nostrils like a fat bull.

Glad you did check the difference between the two different sides as I was going to mention the same thing. This actually is really useful for me because my Z32 has separate low beams and high beams so with LED low beam and halogen high beam I can have the best of both worlds! Winning!

20 dollars per car is a huge expense when you’re building in high volumes. For e.g. the Nissan Qashqai made in the U.K. Sells approximately 350,000 units a year. 20 x 350,000 = 7,000,000 dollars. If a car company can save 7 million a year they will do it. An unfortunately huge part of being in the modern automotive

I work for a British luxury automaker and whenever I see a US spec car going down the production lines with its side marker lights sullying the lines of the vehicle it irritates me that you require them. The Kia’s example does look decent though.

I really don’t want to see them go down. The automotive industry is cut throat enough as it is.

Just give us a fricking proper canopy already. It’s some political nonsense at work here. You give the engineers a task and they will work tirelessly to get it done. It’s some political nonsense at work here. You give the engineers a task and they will work tirelessly to get it done. This is definitely the FIA and other non-technical folk trying to come up with a solution that pleases the traditionalists who want open cockpit and the pro-safety lobby and what they’ve ended up

What the hell FIA? You either say “these are the risks of F1" and keep it open cockpit OR you go full protected cockpit like LMP1/fighter jet style. You can’t introduce a change on the grounds of safety and then not make it as safe as it could possibly be. That kind of political halfway house compromise is what is

No seriously, they’re not renders. I’ve seen it in person.
