Spacex.com has carried webcasts of their previous launches.

Relatively tame compared to some of these but we had an old biddy (and old maid) teacher at my high school whose vanity plate read MWS. Her initials, right? Well, sort of. "WS" were her initials. The "M" stood for Miss, which she insisted she be called - Miss Smith. Not Miz, not Mrs. - she made sure you pronounced

Before you signed the contract, did you read the part that says Verizon and its affiliates reserve the right to change this contract at any time?

Next up on Gizmodo: My landlord raised my rent when I renewed my lease. This is bullshit.

Obviously you've never kidnapped anyone before.

How does that secure key profile thing work? I mean, what keeps Home Depot from making a copy of your key?

10) Minor quibble - That little yellow eTrex GPS could help you, if you're really good with a map and compass. Most people, however, will look at it and go, "OK, I have my lat/long - how the heck do I use that to get outta here?" You'd probably be better of springing for a unit that has mapping capability on it, so

Sorry, but if your opinion is "Public officials (i.e., Fire Captain) can say whatever inflammatory things they want about sensitive topics and not face repercussions," I'm gonna think you're trolling.

OK I get it now. Hahaha you got me.

"Phone with GPS" doesn't cut it. Most phone-based GPS apps only work when you have a data signal - not good in the boonies. Go ahead and buy a "real" GPS.

what @Nimrod said. "First Amendment" =/= "I can say anything I want whenever I want and suffer no consequence."

"illegal" ?? I missed the part where he was arrested for his comments...

One of my ecology profs in college has a story in his book about going lizard-catching in the wilds of Australia "back in the day." When they got back to town (safe, sound and on schedule) the locals had organized a search party because they just knew those two yanks were crazy for heading into the boonies in (gasp)

Heh heh.

And then the call went out to round up every Airman Basic (E-1) on the base, a half-dozen leaf blowers, and a couple garden hoses...

Reminds me of this (ca. 1979).

2nd gen CR-X. On paper I compared it with VW GT-I, Eclipse, a couple of others. The Honda won in whatever terms I cared about in 1990, until I went to drive one. I'm 6'0" and my head was wedged into the corner of the roof/door. Plus by the time I had the seat slid back far enough to be comfortable, I couldn't

It's too much trouble to build a "Go Bag" or a "Get Home Bag." That's why I put my home & home office near a facility certain to be targeted by the Soviets. Then that Lightman kid had to screw everything up, and I have to put together a damn survival kit.

But I'm sure they're aghast as to why people would pirate Photoshop instead of buying it.

By, "ticket," you probably mean, "moving violation," but...
