Trump said electric cars were good and had their place as an option. You are wrong. There is an EV mandate. The only way manufacturers can meet the MPG mandates is to sell a large percentage of their cars as EV's.

That picture is not the first civic. There is an older version. The interior is plastic shit. Worse than a Chevette. I drove both all the time and the rear drive Chevette was better. You could beat the shit out of it and it kept going. The first one my mother owned lasted twenty some years.

You talk about them keeping costs down but you didn't mention the Chinese keep their costs down by paying their workers shit.
