I'm currently running a course through my church as well, and I think his main point (he makes it early on in one of the videos) is that money is 20% knowing what to do and 80% doing it. The class really spends a lot of time reinforcing ways you can change your behavior in relation to money.

My wife and I are terrible with money, and the Dave Ramsey stuff worked out really well. I understand that a lot of people have criticisms about certain aspects of his class, but generally speaking what he's teaching you to do is get out of debt, get on a budget, and start making saving money a priority. The class

One of my favorite things about that series is how it plays with time, both moving forward in the plot AND filling in all this backstory. The storyline is really moving in two directions, and what's happened in the past is a major influence on the present. Rhaegar is never alive in the timeline of this story, and yet

You know what would be cool? Flipping X-Com and playing the game from the alien's perspective. I'd LOVE that expansion pack. I mean, this sounds cool too, but playing as a bunch of aliens would also be cool.

I was born in 1980, and I can't actually remember NOT having a computer around; my dad taught classes at the "Y" on...something, and we had a TI-99/4A that was TOTALLY awesome for the time. It even had a speech synthesizer.

I played the HELL out of that Ghostbusters game. Awesome.

I never had "Adventure", I don't think. Sad, I know.

Agreed. I remember that we had it for awhile and then sold it for some reason; my dad like taught computer classes at the local "Y", which is why I think we had all this stuff. We also had a printer that I could never make work quite right.

DEFINITELY wrote some Basic.

I actually still have it, along with a ton of cartridges, in my mom's attic somewhere. We cleaned it out for her last summer and it's all still there; we were missing the right adapters to actually hook it up.

The TI 99/4A was my first computer (back when I was like five). I never had an NES, but I played the hell out of "Alpiner".

I wonder what breakfast they'll serve in the finale.

As a fellow Browns fan, I think that the issue with the Browns is less the ability level of the picks made and more the complete lack of consistent infrastructure to support the picks made. The constant front office and coaching turnovers mean that fresh talent can't be properly brought in and supported, and we're

Case in point: this photo was taken in the west side suburb of Westlake, not Cleveland.

1. Don’t say “Anything I can do, please shout/call” or similar. Offer to do something, anything. Real tangible things. “Can I come over for a coffee?” or Can I bring you anything from the supermarket?”—anything that’s an actual do. You learn to hear “anything I can do, please call” as “I have no idea what to say and

Agreed. I don't type well enough on my phone or iPad to make either a realistic replacement for just writing stuff down.

I loved the character creation system in this book; it let you pretty much turn any animal into a mutant, with different degrees of mutation and different powers/drawbacks for each of the animals. If anything, it showed me that RPGs could really do a lot more than just be about wizards and elves.

I liked the idea behind Dark Sun a lot. Really rare metal weapons, magic with severe consequences, psionics everywhere...what WASN'T too like? Plus you could be a praying mantis (thri-kreen, I believe)

Okay, help me out guys. I've watched up to midway through Season 2; for me, it's kind of felt like reading a really classic piece of literature in high school. I can appreciate that it's good, but it isn't speaking to me at all, and I've started/stopped a bunch of times with it. Something about the whole thing doesn't

I wanted Walter to be my dad. That show was so very, very good. Also, I REALLY want a .gif of Peter mouthing "I love you, dad" from the finale.
