I love that game, but it was hard as hell. That was one of those games where I didn't feel bad at all cheating to get through (being 13 and all), especially with those stupid eagle guard things...I could never get the timing right on the parry/thrust of their swordfighting.

I love me some first season Heroes, but more because the whole arc of the show was good, not individual episodes.

I also loved that it was possible to "redeem" Saren by convincing him to shoot himself, ending the Reaper's indoctrination. That felt right, somehow, especially since I'd played the whole game trying to convince him that he was wrong.

That seems like a pretty accurate depiction of the very end level of ME3, really. It's not just the badass reaper, the street vaguely reminds me of running around and finding cover.

I would constantly be opening the wrong apps with that home screen. It feels cluttered to me.

Anything short of a monstrous tablet would be huge, though...which would probably make it something only worthwhile at conventions and the like.

Especially a game that has no in-app purchases; that makes it a lot more fun to earn the money to advance.

What you're describing is exactly how I use "Drafts", but it'd be nice if Drafts came out with a desktop client that would let me sync back and forth with my iOS devices.

My only complaint is that the game is too short. I'm pretty much finished with it after getting all the fish and going through the whole upgrade path, and that only took me about a day...but maybe they're planning on adding to it?

I use my iPad mostly for e-books and games, plus the occasional light web browsing while I'm watching TV. I have an iPad2 I paid very little for, and I'm happy with what I get out of it, but if I'd paid full price I probably would be mildly irritated with myself for how little I use it.

I've been holding out hope for that, too. Really, it could still be us, but I'm not sure that we'd have much to trade.

Third for Carcassonne. The thing I always like is that the game's really calm (at least with the people I play with); it's easy to learn, but there's not the same sense of backstabbing or screwing someone over you get when you play certain other games.
