I'm a sales rep for a radiant tubing manufacturer; my company rented computers once to do a seminar on how to run a particular piece of software. It was a radiant tube heat loss/sizing program, and many of the people we were teaching didn't have laptops capable of running it, so we just charged for the class and

I always associate Black Isle, Obsidian, and Troika together (Tim Cain's been at all three, I believe, which may be why); Obsidian's quality control is fantastic compared to Troika's. That was a company that really bit off more than it could chew in terms of RPGs; Arcanum and V:tM:BL were great in theory, but just

Everyone knows that the Browns fans hate the Steelers, Ravens, and Bengals; it's gone underreported how much secret rage they harbor for the Redskins. The Redskins are such a threat to us Browns fans, after all, being a fellow divisional straggler in a completely different conference. The only sad thing is that, with

I always thought ligers were bred for their skills in magic.

Cool post, thanks!

My theory on "The Sopranos" was that the relationship between Tony and his mother was key to the tension in the show, and that when Nancy Marchand passed away it wrecked the way the narrative was "supposed" to go. Have you ever heard anything like that from the writers?

Never had that problem, but I kind of like the new Gmail client better than Sparrow, and I'm considering giving it a shot. Sparrow's been really screwy with my labels for a few months now, to the point where it's pretty much not placing them on mails at all (or, when I place labels on mail in Sparrow, they don't

Is this anything like Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul? Because that mod singlehandedly rescued Oblivion from being terrible for me. Skyrim's way better, but I still kind of miss that mod.

You can actually find it up to 2", but if you're hoping to make the fittings without an expensive expander you'll be out of luck. It also gets fairly pricey and/or harder to find, but it does exist.

So I can blame inefficient pirating for FM 2013 screwing up the game's UI?

That should be "purple", not "pure". I blame autocorrect.

Be aware that - at least for PEX - there are colors that are already in use. Blue is for cold water lines, red is for hot water lines, and I believe pure is for reclaimed water. If you want those colors, you may be able to find them pre-made, and it's usually not more expensive.

I'm pretty sure Strongbow just makes cider.

It was broken, yeah, but it was FUN, and it was balanced out a little by the need for gold. If a system is broken but fun, or "fixed" like Skyrim's but WAY less fun, I'd kind of rather have the broken one.

If it's links I want to get home from work, a lot of times I just use a draft e-mail in Gmail and copy the link into that. Once home, I open up the draft e-mail, and click on the link. It's not the most elegant solution, but since e-mail's always one of my browser windows it tends to be one of those "it just works"

I do think the combat's gotten better; I really hated Morrowind's swordfighting, and that's gotten better in each successive game, as has the sneaking. But the sheer breadth of Morrowind was stunning. I remember you actually HAD to have the map that came with the game if you wanted to get anywhere, because there was

I loved the breadth of customization options you had; you could wear mismatched gloves and boots, put a shirt on over your cuirass, pants over your greaves, enchant the hell out of all of it and go to town. It was also insanely big, which made it really hard for me to get into the first two or three times I played

As a PC gamer, I can honestly say the entire Halo franchise has completely passed me by, and so no, I'm not interested. That's not out of snobbery, it's just that I have no connection with this franchise because they've either taken so long to port over or haven't been ported at all; I've played them at friend's

The original "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" was from 1954, not 1964. #corrections

Back when I was a kid, the first online community I was ever in was a QFG fan board on Prodigy. I was a Katta Paladin.
