I have an excuse - I have one already, and it's a PITA.

I have an excuse - I have one already, and it's a PITA.

... Apple ... (ducks) :D

*shudder* :D

EDIT: Intended to be a bit humorous, but it's really how I feel. I spend good money to get high-accuracy monitors and to calibrate them to display accurate color. I don't want that shifting throughout the day, really I don't.

Yeah, right. I've got... wait, lemme do the math... .09 x my yearly salary in my 401k + Roth. At 51 y/o. But since I don't plan on retiring until I can't work anymore... LOL

Spring Rolls - " The kind of wrapper, fillings, and cooking technique used, as well as the name, vary considerably within this large area, depending on the region's culture."

These are obviously not intended to be the Vietnamese or Thai style spring rolls made with rice paper. They're more like the Chinese or Taiwanese

I find it amusing that everyone is reacting in horror at this suggestion, when essentially, wonton wrappers are unleavened white bread.

Yeah. He a whole word.

If you're not cooking for a crowd, or you'd like a little turkey on a night that isn't a holiday dinner, America's Test Kitchen has an interesting method to try: Use your slow cooker. You'll moist meat, a thick, savory gravy, and if you do it right, you can even have that crispy skin. Here's how.

Wait, are you under the impression that a wonton wrapper is made from something materially different than white bread? Weird.

I don't participate in Black Friday madness. There's nothing I want badly enough to deal with crowds of screaming assholes. Cyber Monday? I dunno. I order stuff online, and if I see an exceptional deal I might pick it up, but I probably won't seek out any "Cyber Monday" anything specifically.

I know a lot of folks love that program, but it drives me crazy when the colors go nuts. As a photographer, the LAST thing I want to happen is the color on my screen to shift with the hour of the day :D

The naive libertarian bootstrappy viewpoint of Heinlein's work isn't as compelling as it was to me as a young man, but the stories are still awesome. "The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress" is a great book, IMO.

And about funk.

Oddly enough, though Heinlein has always been one of my favorite sci-fi authors, I have been steadfastly unable to wade through "Job", though I've read literally everything else he's written. And then there was something by Orson Scott Card that wasn't in the Xenocide series.

One of the books I finished and wished I

... Huh?

On Mac OS X, I use "Time Out Free". I haven't found one on iOS I like as much, but Nag works.

If I had more time, I'd write one for iOS. LOL

EDIT: On TOF, I set it to remind me every fifteen minutes to take a fifteen second break, wherein I do neck rolls; and a five minute break every hour, wherein I walk down the

LOL! Actually, I was just relieved that I wasn't dying. They've offered surgery, but until it bothers me more on a day-to-day basis, I'm not going to bother. I do, however, have to hold my phone up so my neck is more or less straight, and I have to set up my monitor so that I can hold my head up straight.

I love Yoga,

Due to some old car-crash injury to my neck, I started holding the phone up in front of me some time ago, because for me the pain isn't deferred at all. My fingers go numb and my arms start hurting.

EDIT: I also downloaded a nag timer that reminds me every five minutes to spend fifteen seconds doing neck rolls. This
