The worst thing about Rogue One is that the characters are so poorly developed, and then the movie expects you to care when they all die. Nope!

yeah I don’t get releasing the movie now when I still can’t find a theater suitably empty enough for my liking to see Infinity War. Damn thing still has theaters at 70% capacity full on Sunday at noon, for chrissakes.

I just don’t get the logic in releasing a Han Solo origin film at this point. We JUST closed the book on his character in Force Awakens, why aren’t we getting the backstory to someone who actually matters in the context of the new trilogy? They should have stuck to once a year for Star Wars movies. Make them a December event and own it. Solo came out to close to TLJ, in a already crazy summer movie season that basically started in February this year(with Black Panther).

I think Disney really needs to rethink how they are handling the Star Wars franchise. Most of the movies have been disappointing (to varying degrees) for most fans and they haven’t hit the right formula of fanservice, originality, and narrative that, say, the Marvel movies have. There’s a lot being written about why this didn’t make what it was expected to make, but I think it all boils down to a general lack of interest in a Han Solo origin story. I just think most folks don’t care why Han is the way he is, and learning about it certainly ruins some of his cool mystique. Just my two cents…

Loved this show. My only quibble is with construction of the bear, which always looked more like a troll on four legs than a bear. It’s 2017 (at the time). They should be able to make a bear look like a bear. But tearing Hickey in half made me feel better about troll-bear so let’s call it even.

On the one hand I’m going to miss this show terribly. However on the other hand. I don’t think I could have taken much more misery.

Great, but depressing show. Probably one of the most depressing endings for me since The Mist. I do have to say the CG monster was pretty bad throughout the series. It makes me wish it was t part of the show cause it kind of took me out of the moment when it was on screen. But there should be a bunch of nominations…

Did Silna die? I didn’t get that sense. We see her leave at night, and she is pulling a sled with supplies. “Alone is the way for her now” means that she cannot live with her people as a shaman, but I don’t think it means she must die.
