The officiating this whole playoffs, from first round to last, has been lousy as all hell, so I’m not surprised that the zebras fouled up in this game too. That being said, that Game 6, goddamn, that was some good hockey. Fun series, too.

I wish people would stop and think for like one minute about how it could possibly benefit the NFL and NHL for Pittsburgh to win titles. And why MLB isn’t on board this conspiracy train.
I can taste the tears of hate. It’s wonderful. But yes, the fix has always been in for the 25th largest media market in the USA
Did the Preds get hosed on that early whistle? Yes. Did the refs do everything in their power to give it back via giving them 5 power plays to the Penguins’ zero (the equivalent of awarding an NBA team 0 free throws in a playoff game)? Yes.
Nashville couldn’t score on 4 power plays, including a 5 v 3. They have no excuses. The better team all series won. The only thing I don’t get is how Crosby got the Conn Smythe. Yeah he’s still Sid and he’s still amazing but he did miss some time and I think Malkin or Guentzel would have had a better case.
Man Oh man, there is nothing sweeter than the ocean of tears of Nashville fans as Sidney Crosby hoists the cup in Bridgestone Arena. Wow.
Poor Brendan Fraser. The 90s era movie was so great.
Cool, so when’s the event that adds more pokestops to rural areas? or are we still expected to only be able to play this game downtown?
Ovechkin has been with the team for around 11 years. Wouldn’t he have all the experiences of choking in the playoffs?
I think the biggest gripe, and legitimately so, was that you spent 5 literal years playing as the same character, making decisions for good or bad, people surviving or dying, and not a lick of it makes any difference when you get to the very end with a pick door 1, 2, or 3. I get they couldn’t make a thousand…
Off the main topic of this thread but: why was everyone so enthralled with Iron Bull in DA: I? To me, he was nothing more than a poor attempt of Freddie Prinze Jr. pushing his voice.
ME3 was a day-one purchase for me, and as a single 29 year-old with a chill job I was able to take a day off and play it like a mad person. I finished it roughly two nights after its release (and I remember this keenly) at about 3:00 AM.
That gets me far more than the “choose a button to determine ending” situation - all the alliance building over the previous two games (and much of the third, still) feels like it doesn’t matter because everything comes down to the deus ex machina Crucible.
The tweaks they applied definitely helped bring closure to the story; prior to that point, what the rest of us got was essentially a blue, red, or green variant of, “The Normandy got clear, most of your crew survived--unless of course you killed all the synthetics, then EDI’s kinda fucked—and someone, somewhere, is…
Also that the theme of the ending of the game felt like a complete 180 to whole theme Mass Effect had been following up to that point.
I’m not sure how much I want to invest hope in this one. Everything I’ve heard so far sounds amazing, but I’m one of those who’s still having trouble letting go of the ending to ME 3 (yes, yes, I know; I should just get the fuck over it, but that kind of narrative “FUCK YOU” from the writers is hard to forget).
...that,…
Patricia, are the side-quests actually interesting and well made or it’s Dragon Age Inquisition all over again?
I’d like to take this moment to thank the universe for allowing me to be born into a family that is not completely and irrevocably insane. I consider it the single greatest gift I have ever received.
Too Much, Girl was everything.
I know, I was specifically referring to this week’s 2? 3? stories. Yikes.
