Right?!
Right?!
The good old Supernatural way to create dramatic tension via making every character act like an idiot. It’s even more frustrating when the mistrust has no reasonable foundation. Seriously, I hate that whole thing so much.
Pretty much this.
It’s definitely a thing I enjoy about them, though I do feel like the big mash-ups (the first Avengers, Civil War) suffer from Let’s You and Him Fight Because Reasons, I Guess, mostly between Steve and Tony.
I miss this same thing so much. I want my heroes to be buddies, at least most of the time, not constantly working at cross-purposes. I lose interest in shows were everyone is so angry at one another all the time very quickly. Go fight the bad guys, you jerks. I don’t want to watch a bunch of people who don’t even like…
To be fair, the monsters looked really campy, too.
I still think that the part of the zord in the header pic looks like some fancy basketball shoe and nothing else. That’s all I see when I look at it.
Aside from the Terrigen mist nonsense, I’ve really been enjoying x-books lately. Well, mostly All-New and Wolverine, true, but the others aren’t nearly so shitty as they’ve been in the past. I’m sad Laura’s book is going away, more than anything, as I feel that it means she’ll probably get shoved into Weapon X and…
He was trying to avoid some of the terrible shit that happened to grown up him.
My grandparents would love that wooden bear.
It looks so chunky. Like chili throw-up.
Yes! That sounds familiar.
Didn’t she have a daughter at one point? Isn’t this set far into the future now, or something? After she got like... frozen?
Well, I’m glad they were legitimately good! I seem to remember a pretty crazy plot point about Obi-Wan losing his memory, so I wasn’t sure anymore.
I know these are terrible for you, but I love them so. They remind me of being young and of poor taste and reading though all of the EU books as they came to the library.. Tiny me LOVED the Jedi Academy books. Looking forward to you getting to those as, lo, they are truly, truly shitty.
I think I hate Children of the Jedi more. Possibly because I read this as a kid, so the kid parts appealed to me. Whereas Children of the Jedi just had weird romances with women in ships.
I feel justified for disliking mega evolution now, though really I just didn’t do it because I was lazy and it was one more thing to keep track of in my bags.
Yes, I have been waiting for this! I’ve always been away before, but this time I am ready, though I’m in the grays. Oh well.
Man, after the take-down I thought these were going to be hilarious, or at least slightly funny, but wow, not so much.
