Yes I understand that, but my point is its not the oil companys that end up paying the tax when they just cover it out of the consumers pocket. High gas prices also makes it more difficult for middle and lower class to even be able to consider other technologies.

Sounds awesome on paper and I wish I could cheer him on 100% with this, but I know its not the oil companies that actually end up paying this tax...although with such low oil prices right now the impact might not be as large as expected. We’ll have to wait and see.
