Doom 3 while high(or low) on nyquil

@a1chemi: flipping over a car is lame, I can TOTALLY do that in Prototype

@Stargazer2188: dude running on water, that's been part of a viral marketing campaign

@Heliophage: the idea of paying for it, tho, is quite insulting.

@Scott: it's like spilling out the water from a bottle that's been in your car for over a week. This is America baby, we are free to waste the stuff other countries would kill for!

@eliavictor: notion ink adam is what the tablet is called. it uses regular lcd combined with Pixel Qi

@pmindemann: RiceBandit has a point. Microsoft just needs their foot in the door and then they can get their sh*t together. If what they are selling is what the market wants, then they will do just fine. Xbox is the best example. Windows Vista, on the other hand, is proof that the market doesn't care who you are.

@paradox: so then if an apple fanboy wanted a netbook-type device, but with an authentic apple logo on it, what would they get?

@paradox: im not saying one is better than the other. I'm saying, the tasks you would do on a MBA would be the same as what you would do with a netbook. Since Apple doesn't make "netbooks" they make "macbook air." Like a netbook, you would use the MBA as your major media hub. You wouldn't use it for all the things

@paradox: im not saying you or anyone should buy a netbook instead, but please tell me the major difference in purpose for a person buying a MBA or a person buying a netbook? There is very little difference.

@Lite: an adventurer is me!: yes, all that processing power and what exactly is the reason to buy this over, let's say a macbook pro? core2duo is great and all but with this "laptop" there's not actual need for that much power. Older netbooks play crappy video, Newer (1.5 yr old) ones seem to handle it just fine.

@paradox: your talking specs, not functionality, see below for my full rebuttal.

@paradox: I guess I have to clear this up.

MacBook Air = Netbook

@SpartanG087: that was pretty cool, very persistent

it's 5th grade all over again

@Dexomega: Yeah, that's what Shampoo wants you to think!
